Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan utk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial dengan job insecurity pada karyawan outsourcing di pt. perkebunan nusantara iv medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah karyawan pt. perkebunan nusantara iv berjenis kelamin laki – laki/ perempuan berjumlah 50 orang karywan. Teknik pengambilan sampel mengeunakan metode purposive sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel data dgn pertimbangan tententu. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan model skala likert. Metode analisis data yg digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik korelasi product moment dari person. Hasil penelitian ini adanya korelasi dengan 0,566 dengan p = 0,000 < 0.050, artinya ada hubungan negatif antara dukungan sosial dengan job insecurity, semakin rendah dukungan sosial maka semakin tinggi job insecurity dinyatakan diterima. Koefisien determinan (r2) = 0,321, artinya bahwa dukungan sosial memberikan sumbangsi terhadap job insecurity sebesar 32,1%. Bentukbentuk yang mempengaruhi dukungan sosial yaitu dukungan emosional, dukungan informatif, dukungan penghargaan, dan dukungan instrumental. This study are intend to knowing the correlation between Social Support and Job Insecurities of Outsourcing Employees at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan. This study are using quantitative approach. The subject of this study are 50 male or female employees at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan. The sampling of this study are collected using purposive sampling method that is taking a data sampling with certain consideration/characteristic features. The data are collected using a likert scale. The analysis data method that used in this study are Pearson product moment correlation test. The result of the analysis data showing there is a correlation with 0,566 and p = 0,000 < 0,050, there are negative correlation between social support and job insecurities, the lower the social support the higher job insecurities, and it is acceptable. The determinant coefficient (r2) = 0,321, meaning that social support giving much contribute for job insecurities rated 32,1%. Any kind of social support that affecting a social support are emotional support, informative support, appreciation support and instrumental support.
