Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara Kepercayaan Diri dengan Kecemasan Berbicara di depan Umum pada Mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Stambuk 2018 Institut Agama Islam Negeri Takengon Aceh Tengah. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Stambuk 2018 Institut Agama Islam Negeri Takengon Aceh Tengah yang berjumlah 120 orang. Dan sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 42 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Perposive Sampling. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kepercayaan diri dan kecemasan berbicara di depan umum diukur dengan skala likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Teknik Korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai korelasi rxy = -0,562, p= 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga terdapat hubungan Negative antara Kepercayaan Diri dengan Kecemasan Berbicara di depan Umum Pada Mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Institut Agama Islam Negeri Takengon Aceh Tengah, dengan koefesien determinan (r2) sebesar 0,316 atau 31,6%. Dengan kata lain hipotesis diterima. Kecemasan berbicara di depan umum tergolong tinggi (mean empirik = 69,83 > mean hipotetik= 57,5 dimana selisih nya lebih dari bilang standar deviasi = 5,165), dan untuk kepercayaan diri tergolong sedang (mean empirik= 62,14 > mean hipotetik= 70 dimana selisih nya lebih dari bilangan standar deviasi = 12,902). The purpose of this study was to see Self-Confidence and Public Speaking Anxiety in Students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Stambuk 2018 Teacher Education at the State Islamic Institute of Takengon Aceh Tengah. The population of this study were students of the Islamic State Institute of Islamic Religion, Takengon Central Aceh, which amounted to 120 people. And the sample of this study amounted to 42 people. The sampling technique in this study used Perposive Sampling. In this study using quantitative methods. Collecting data using a self-confidence scale and public speaking anxiety measured by a Likert scale. The data analysis technique uses the Product Moment Correlation Technique. The results of this study indicate the correlation value rxy = -0.562, p = 0.000 <0.05, so there is a negative relationship between Self-Confidence and Anxiety in Public Speaking in Students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education at the State Islamic Institute of Takengon Aceh Tengah, with the determinant coefficient ( r2) of 0.316 or 31.6%. In other words, the hypothesis is accepted. Anxiety in public speaking is high (empirical mean = 69.83 > hypothetical mean = 57.5 where the difference is more than the standard deviation = 5.165), and self-confidence is moderate (empirical mean = 62.14 > hypothetical mean = 70 where the difference is more than the standard deviation = 12,902).
