Abstract

As for the formulation of this thesis problem is How the implementation of the investigation of the crime of counterfeiting of land certificates in North Sumatra Police Reskrimum, How obstacles in the implementation of the investigation of criminal acts of counterfeiting of land certificates in North Sumatra Police Reskrimum, How efforts are made in overcoming obstacles in the investigation of criminal acts of counterfeiting forgery land in Reskrimum Polda North Sumatra. As for the method of research in this thesis is This research is analytical descriptive, that is a data analysis based on general law theory applied to explain about a set of data relating to problem which have been proposed based on title chosen that role of Police in action criminal falsification of certificates in North Sumatra and the approach of this study using a normative juridical approach. To overcome the obstacle to prove the crime of faking the land certificate internally is the effort made by Ditreskrimum Polda North Sumatra is requesting additional investigator personnel who have the experience of the investigator, maximize the existing investigator and if necessary ask for additional personnel. Submitting Subdit II personnel to participate in training and vocational education related to land and forgery. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that the Police need to provide special education to investigators / investigators in the field of criminal falsification of land certificates, North Sumatra Police especially Ditreskrimum need to add the number of investigators, so the investigation of the case can run maximally, Police must be able to maintain the independence of investigators so that law enforcement intervention.
