Abstract: Komunikasi organisasi adalah kunci awal dalam menjalankan aktivitas perusahaan, untuk mempertahankan kinerja karyawan komunikasi organisasi harus dapat beradaptasi dengan lingkungan dan situasi kerja yang berubah-ubah. Penelitian yang ditulis bertujuan untuk mengetahui komunikasi organisasi yang dijalankan sejak diberlakukan pembatasan pekerja, mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan perubahan komunikasi yang dijalankan terhadap kinerja karyawan, serta untuk mengetahui tantangan dan kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan tugas dan tanggungjawab bersamaan dengan keputusan pembatasan pekerja pada PT Angkasa Pura II KC Bandar Udara Kualanamu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merujuk pada metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan proses pengumpulan data melalui teknik wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi serta didukung dengan adanya data sekunder melalui buku bacaan dan literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi organisasi yang dijalankan PT Angkasa Pura II sudah dikemas dengan sangat modern bahkan sebelum terjadinya putusan pembatasan pekerja sehingga memudahkan perusahaan untuk beradaptasi dengan situasi tersebut. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui skala penilaian kinerja karyawan yang tetap stabil, meskipun demikian kesulitan dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam situasi saat ini akan terus terjadi dan diselesaikan bersama baik karyawan dan perusahaan PT Angkasa Pura II Bandar Udara Kualanamu khususnya Unit Human Resources & General Affair. Organizational communication is the key in carrying out company activities, to maintain employee performance organizational communication must be able to adapt for work environments and situations at the time. The study written aims to determine organizational communication that has been carried out along the limitation of workers was imposed, to find out whether there is a relationship between organizational communication carried out on employee performance, and to find out the defiance and difficulties in completing tasks and responsibilities along with the decision to limit workers at PT Angkasa Pura II branch office Kualanamu Airport. The research method used refers to the descriptive qualitative method with the data collection process through interview, documentation, and observation techniques and is supported by secondary data through reading books and literature. The results of the study indicate that the organizational communication carried out by PT Angkasa Pura II has been packaged so modernly even before the decision to restrict workers, that’s why easier for the company to adapt for the situation. This is evidenced by the employee performance appraisal scale which remains stable, however the difficulties and challenges faced in the current situation will continue to occur and be resolved by both employees and the company PT Angkasa Pura II Kualanamu Airport, especially the Human Resources & General Affairs Unit.
