dc.description.abstract | Sawi putih merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman sayuran daun yang memiliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi. Purba tongah merupakan salah satu desa penghasil komoditas sawi putih. Salah satu alternative mengatasi masalah kualitas pertumbuhan tanaman sawi putih adalah dengan pemberian zat pengatur tumbuh (fitohormon). Mad Gib merupakan salah satu produk dari zat pengatur tumbuh GA3 sintetik yang beredar dipasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari pemberian Mad Gib terhadap peningkatan kualitas pertumbuhan tanaman sawi putih (Brassica juncea L.). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK). Terdapat 5 perlakuan yaitu M0%, M25%, M50%, M75%, M100% Masing-masing perlakuan dilakukan 4 kali pengulangan. Parameter pengamatan yaitu : tinggi tanaman (cm), diameter krop (cm), berat/biomassa (gr) sawi putih. Analisis data menggunakan ANOVA yang dilanjutkan dengan uji LSD0.05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pemberian Mad Gib pada konsentrasi 75% mampu mempengaruhi kualitas pertumbuhan tanaman meliputi parameter tinggi tanaman dengan rata-rata tinggi tanaman 17.25 cm (2 MST), 28.5 cm (3 MST), 40 cm (4 MST), 55 CM (5 MST), 59,25 cm (6 mst). Diameter krop dengan rata-rata 2.42 cm dan berat (biomassa) tanaman sawi putih dengan rata-rata 3300 gr. Chinese cabbage is one type of leaf vegetable plant that has high economic value. Purba Tongah is one of the villages producing chinese cabbage commodities. One alternative to overcome the problem of the growth quality of chinese cabbage plants is by giving growth regulators (phytohormones). Mad Gib is a product of synthetic GA3 growth regulator on the market. This study aims to determine the effects of giving Mad Gib on increasing the growth quality of chinese cabbage (Brassica juncea L.). This research was conducted by experimental method using a randomized bloc design (RAK). There were 5 treatments namely MO, M25%, M50%, M75%, and M100% each treatments was repeated 5 times. Observation parameters were plants height, crop diameters, weight (biomass) of chinese cabbage. Data analysis using ANOVA followed by LSD0.05 test. The results showed that the treatment of giving Mad Gib at a concentration of 75% was able to affect the quality of plant growth including plant height parameters with an average plant height parameters with an average plant height of 17.25 cm (2 MST), 28.5 cm (3 MST), 40 cm (4 MST), 55 CM (5 MST), 59,25 cm (6 mst).
