dc.description.abstractPendidikan dan Pelatihan sangat dibutuhkan dalam meningkatkan kinerja ASN di Kantor Camat Laguboti agar sumber daya manusia yang dihasilkan berkualitas dan profesional dalam bidangnya. Fenomena yang terlihat diharapkan agar dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap, sehingga terciptanya kualitas kerja yang baik pada Kantor Camat Laguboti. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui peranan pendidikan dan pelatihan dalam meningkatkan kinerja ASN pada Kantor Camat Laguboti dan Faktor pendukung dan penghambat dari pendidikan dan pelatihan dalam meningkatkan kinerja ASN pada Kantor Camat Laguboti. Adapun metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan informan peneliti yaitu Bapak Camat, Sekretaris Camat, dan pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Siagian yang meliputi empat indikator peranan yaitu peranan pribadi, peranan nformasi, peranan pengambilan keputusan, dan peranan pengawasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan dan pelatihan sangat berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja ASN dan sudah terealisasikan dengan baik namun belum optimal, yang dilihat dari faktor dukungan kepemimpinan, komitmen, dan komunikasi serta motivasi sehingga kinerja pegawai diharapkan dapat berkerja untuk lebih baik sehingga diharapkan mampu memberikan pelayanan yang lebih baik pada masyarakat. Education and training are very much needed in improving the performance of ASN at the Laguboti Sub-District Office so that the human resources produced are of high quality and professional in their fields. The phenomena seen are expected to increase knowledge, skills, attitudes, so as to create good quality work at the Laguboti Sub-District Office. The purpose of the study was to determine the role of education and training in improving ASN performance at the Laguboti Sub-District Office and the supporting and inhibiting factors of education and training in improving ASN performance at the Laguboti Sub-District Office. The method used by the researcher is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation with research informants, namely Mr. Camat, Secretary of Camat, and employees. This study uses Siagian theory which includes four role indicators, namely the role of personal, the role of information, the role of decision making, and the role of supervision. The results of the study show that education and training play an important role in improving the performance of ASN and has been realized well but not yet optimal, which is seen from the factors of leadership support, commitment, and communication as well as motivation so that employee performance is expected to work better so that it is expected to be able to be able to provide services Better for society.en_US
