dc.description.abstract | Jambu air madu Thongsamsi (Syzygium equeum) merupakan jenis jambu air yang memiliki nilai ekonomis di desa Jati Kesuma. Salah satu penyebab turunnya produksi jambu air adalah tingginya serangan hama lalat buah yang di sebabkan oleh Bactrocera spp. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pola aktivitas harian, dinamika dan kelimpahan populasi lalat buah dalam hubungannya dengan tingkat kematangan jambu madu dan mengetahui pengaruh kelimpahan populasi lalat buah dengan faktor lingkungan pada pertanaman jambu madu Thongsamsi (Syzygium aqueum). Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, pengumpulan data menggunakan dengan metode survei dan ekperimental. Lokasi penelitian yaitu dipertanaman jambu Thongsamsi di Desa Jati Kesuma Kecamatan Namorambe Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Mengunakan perangkap jebakan model Steiner trap + metil eugenol dengan dosis 1,5 ml, luas area pengamatan 5000 m2 terdapat 112 tanaman jambu Thongsamsi dengan sistem tanam sejajar dan jarak tanam 6 x 7,5 meter. Diperoleh hasil bahwa hanya terdapat 2 jenis lalat buah yaitu B. dorsalis (Handel) dan B. carambolae. yang beraktivitas mulai pukul 06.00-18.00. Aktivitas tertinggi ditemukan pada jam 08.00-10.00 wib sebesar 55% dan aktivitas terendah ditemukan pada pukul 16.00-1800 wib hanya 2 %. Thongsamsi rose apple (Syzygium Equeum) is a kind of rose apple that has economic value in the village of Jati Kesuma. One of cause decreased production of rose apple was high pest attack caused by Bactrocera spp. The aim of this research was to know daily activity, dynamics and abundance of fruit fly population in relation to the level of maturity of the honey rose apple and to know the effect of fruit fly population abundance with environmental factors at Thongsamsi honey rose apple plantation. This research belongs to the type of quantitative descriptive research, and data collection used survey and experimental methods. The research location is the Thongsamsi honey rose apple plantation in the village of Jati Kesuma, Namurambe district, Deliserdang regency. Using a stainer trap + methyl eugenol with a dose of 1.5 ml,the observation area is 5000 m2 which there were 112 thongsamsi honey rose apple plants with a parallel planting system and a spacing of 6 x 7.5 m. the result is that there are 2 kinds of fruit fly, namely B. Dorsalis (Handel) and B carambolae that has activity at 6 am - 6 pm. The highest activity is 8 am - 10 am of 55% and the lowest activity is 4 pm-6 pm of 2%. | en_US |
