Abstract: Artikel atau tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara self efficacy dengan work engagement pada Pegawai di Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Sumatera Utara.. Masalah difokuskan pada self efficacy dengan work engagement. Guna mendekati masalah ini dipergunakan acuan teori dari Bandura untuk self efficacy dan Schaufeli dan Bakker untuk work engagement . Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 orang dan sampel yang digunakan 60 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif korelasional dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Data-data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran angket dengan menggunakan skala self efficacy yang menggunakan skala likert dan skala work engagement yang menggunakan skala baku yaitu UWES-9 . Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai koefisien (rxy) = 0,592 dengan signifikansi p = 0,001 < 0,050. Hasil penelitian tersebut menjelaskan terdapat hubungan antara self efficacy dengan work engagement pada Pegawai Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Hal tersbut menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi self efficacy maka semakin tinggi work engagement pada pegawai. This article or paper aims to see the relationship between self-efficacy and work engagement in employees at the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office. The problem is focused on selfefficacy with work engagement. To approach this problem, theoretical references from Bandura for self-efficacy and Schaufeli and Bakker for work engagement are used. The population in this study was 60 people and the sample used was 60 people. The method used in this study is a correlational quantitative descriptive approach with sampling techniques using total sampling. The data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires using a self-efficacy scale using the likert scale and a work engagement scale that uses the standard scale, namely the UWES-9. The results in this study showed a coefficient value (rXY) = 0.592 with significance p = 0.001 < 0.050. The results of the study explained that there is a relationship between selfefficacy and work engagement in employees of the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office. This shows that the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the work engagement in employees.
