Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti perbedaan harga diri pada remaja broken home ditinjau dari sosial ekonomi. Harga diri adalah merujuk pada sikap seseorang terhadap dirinya sendiri, mulai dari sangat negatif sampai sangat positif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di desa muka sei kuruk. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif komparatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 85 remaja broken home. Sehingga total sampel berjumlah 85 remaja yang ditentukan dengan Teknik total sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala harga diri dengan model skala likert. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis one way anova. Reliabilitas meggunakan teknik koefisien alpa cronbach. Mean hipotetik variabel harga diri kelas atas sebesar 82,5 dan mean hipotetik kelas bawah sebesar 82,5. Mean empirik harga diri kelas atas sebesar 104,00 dan harga empirik kelas bawah sebesar 84,80. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan, maka diperoleh nilai koefisien perbedaan Anova dengan koefisien F= 73,225 dengan P= 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Hal ini berarti hipotesis yang diajukan yaitu ada perbedaan harga diri ditinjau dari sosial ekonomi dengan asumsi harga diri remaja broken home sosial ekonomi atas lebih tinggi dari pada remaja broken home sosial ekonomi rendah. This study aims to examine differences in self-esteem in broken home adolescents in terms of socio-economics. Self-esteem refers to a person's attitude towards himself, ranging from very negative to very positive. This research was conducted in the village ofmuka sei kuruk. The method used in this study is a comparative quantitative method. The sample in this study were 85 teenagers from broken home families. So that the total sample is 85 teenagers who are determined by the total sampling technique. The data collection method used a self-esteem scale with a Likert scale model. Data analysis used one way ANOVA analysis technique. Reliability using Cronbach's alpha coefficient technique. The hypothetical mean of the upper class self-esteem variable is 82.5 and the lower class hypothetical mean is 82.5. The empirical mean of self-esteem for the upper class is 104.00 and the empirical mean for the lower class is 84.80. Based on the results of the data analysis performed, the coefficient of difference Anova is obtained with a coefficient of F = 73.225 with P = 0.000 less than 0.05. This means that the hypothesis proposed is that there is a difference in self-esteem in terms of socio-economics with the assumption that the self-esteem of broken home adolescents from the upper socio-economic level is higher than that of the lower socio-economic broken home adolescents.
