dc.description.abstractWork Engagement merupakan sebuah motivasi dan pusat pikiran positif yang berhubungan dengan pekerjaan yang dicirikan dengan vigor, dedication dan absorption. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Gambaran yang mempengaruhi Work Engagement pada Karyawan di Dinas ESDM Provinsi Sumatera Utara.Subjek penelitian berjumlah 50 orang karyawan Dinas ESDM Provinsi Sumatera Utara dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Total Sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert untuk work engagement.Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari konstribusi terhadap 3 aspek work engagement yaitu Vigour memiliki hasil konstribusi 42,381,Dedikasi memiliki hasil konstribusi 28,653 dan Absorbtion memiliki hasil konstribusi 28,864. Maka diketahui Vigour memiliki konstribusi paling besar dari ke tiga aspek work engagement tersebut dengan hasil 42,381%. Berdasarkan hasil frekuensi dari Vigour pada tabel diatas diketahui memiliki kategori yang dibagi kedalam 3 bagian yaitu sangat tinggi, tinggi dan sedang terlihat bahwa dari 50 orang karyawan frekuensi Vigour berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persen sebesar 54% sedangkan hasil frekuensi dari Dedikasi pada tabel diatas diketahui memiliki kategori yang dibagi kedalam bagian yaitu sangat tinggi,tinggi,dan sedang,terlihat bahwa dari 50 orang karyawan frekuensi Dedikasi berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persen sebesar 52% dan hasil frekuensi dari Absorbtion pada tabel diatas diketahui memiliki kategori yang dibagi kedalam 3 bagian yaitu sangat tinggi,tinggi dan sedang terlihat bahwa dari 50 orang karyawan frekuensi absorbtion berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan persen 50%. Work Engagement is a motivational and positive thought center related to work which is characterized by vigor, dedication and absorption. The purpose of this study was to determine the picture that affects Work Engagement on Employees at the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of North Sumatra Province. The research subjects were 50 employees of the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of North Sumatra Province and the sample was taken using the Total Sampling technique. The data collection method uses a Likert scale for work engagement. Based on the results of the analysis of contributions to 3 aspects of work engagement, Vigour has a contribution of 42,381, Dedication has a contribution of 28,653 and Absorbtion has a contribution of 28.864. Then it is known that Vigour has the largest contribution of the three aspects of work engagement with a result of 42.381%. Based on the results of the frequency of Vigour in the table above, it is known to have categories that are divided into 3 parts, namely very high, high and moderate, it can be seen that from 50 employees the frequency of Vigour is in the high category with a percent of 54% while the frequency results of Dedication in the table above are known to have categories that are divided into sections, namely very high, high, and medium, it can be seen that from 50 employees the frequency of dedication is in the high category with a percent of 52% and the frequency results from absorption in the table above are known to have categories that are divided into 3 parts, namely very high , high and moderate, it can be seen that from 50 employees the absorption frequency is in the very high category with a percent of 50%.en_US
