Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor disiplin kerja pegawai di komisi pemilihan umum (KPU) Sumatera Utara. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 58 orang dan sampel sebanyak 58 orang, peneliti menggunakan teknik total sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan metode analisis F%, diketahui bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi kedisiplinan kerja pegawai di Kantor Komisi Pemilihan Umum Sumatera Utara di urutkan sebagai berikut : faktor Ketegasan sebesar 17,3 %, faktor Sanksi Hukuman sebesar 17,1 %, faktor Balas Jasa sebesar 16,8 %, faktor Keadilan sebesar 16,7 %, faktor Teladan Pimpinan sebesar 16,1 %, faktor Waskat sebesar 16 %. Faktor disiplin kerja yang paling dominan adalah faktor ketegasan sebesar 17,3% dimana ketegasan pimpinan sangatlah penting bagi karyawan dalam melakukan tindakan pendisiplinan melalui cara yang positif. sedangkan faktor disiplin kerja yang paling rendah adalah faktor waskat 16% dimana Pengawasan melekat (waskat) merupakan tindakan nyata yang paling efektif dalam mewujudkan kedisiplinan pegawai, karena dengan pengawasan ini berarti atasan harus aktif dan langsung mengawasi perilaku, moral, sikap, gairah kerja, dan prestasi bawahannya. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors of employee discipline in the General Election Commission (KPU) of North Sumatra. This research method uses quantitative methods. The population of this study was 58 people and the sample was 58 people, the researchers used a total sampling technique. Based on the results of data analysis using the F% analysis method, it is known that the factors that affect the work discipline of employees at the General Election Commission Office of North Sumatra are sorted as follows: Assertiveness factor of 17.3%, Punishment factor of 17.1%, Repayment factor by 16.8%, the Justice factor by 16.7%, the Leadership Exemplary factor by 16.1%, the Waskat factor by 16%. The most dominant work discipline factor is the assertiveness factor of 17.3% where the firmness of the leadership is very important for employees in carrying out disciplinary actions in a positive way. while the lowest work discipline factor is the waskat factor 16% where inherent supervision (waskat) is the most effective real action in realizing employee discipline, because with this supervision means that superiors must be active and directly supervise behavior, morals, attitudes, work passion, and subordinates' performance.
