Hubungan antara Kontrol Diri dengan Kecenderungan Perilaku Narsistik pada Siswi di SMK Negeri 7 Medan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan kecenderungan perilaku narsistik pada siswi di SMK Negeri 7 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 40 orang siswa. Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dua skala psikologi , yaitu skala kontrol diri dan skala kecenderungan perilaku narsistik. Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis data mengunakan teknik korelasi product moment (rxy) diperoleh hasil sebesar -0.048 dengan signifikansi p = 0.000 <0.050. Artinya hipotesis diterima yaitu terdapat hubungan negatif antara kontrol diri dengan kecenderungan perilaku narsistik pada remaja di SMK Negeri 7 Medan. Kontrol diri tergolong rendah dimana mean hipotetik = 75,5 > mean empirik = 65,97 dan selisihnya melebihi bilanngan SD = 10,6. Kecenderungan perilaku narsistik tergolong tinggi dimana mean hipotetik = 80 < mean empirik = 107,8 dan selisihnya melebihi bilangan SD = 13,85. Adapun Koesfisien determinan dari korelasi tersebut sebesar r2 = 0,301 Kontrol diri memberikan sumbangan efektif terhadap kecenderungan kenakalan remaja sebesar 30,1%. This study aims to examine the relationship between self-control and the tendency of narcissistic behavior in students at SMK Negeri 7 Medan. This research uses quantitative research type. The number of research samples is 40 students. The data collection technique in this study used purposive sampling. Data collection uses two psychological scales, namely the self-control scale and the narcissistic behavior tendency scale. Results Based on the data analysis test using the product moment correlation technique (rxy) the results were -0.048 with a significance of p= 0.000 <0.50. This means that the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a negative relationship between self-control and the tendency of narcissistic behavior in adolescents at SMK Negeri 7 Medan. Self-control is classified as low where the hypothetical mean =75.5 > empirical mean = 65.97 and the difference exceeds the SD number =10.6. narcissistic tendencies are classified as high where the hypothetical mean = 80 < empirical mean = 107.8 and the difference exceeds the SD number = 13.85. The determinant coefficient of the correlation is r2 = 0.301 Self-control provides an effective contribution to the tendency of juvenile delinquency by 30.1%.
