Hubungan antara Efikasi Diri dengan Motivasi Belajar pada Siswa SMA Swasta RK Bintang Timur Pematang Siantar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa SMA Swasta RK Bintang Timur Pematang Siantar. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 262 orang siswa kelas XI SMA Swasta RK Bintang Timur Pematang Siantar. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 72 orang siswa kelas XI SMA Swasta RK Bintang Timur Pematang Siantar. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas dan koefisien korelasi product moment. Berdasarkan Hasil uji normalitas dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Kolmogorov-Smirnov diperoleh hasil bahwa penyebaran data efikasi diri terdistribusi normal dan penyebaran data motivasi belajar terdistribusi normal. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Korelasi Product Moment, diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara efikasi diri dengan variabel motivasi belajar. Hal ini menujukkan bahwa semakin tinggi efikasi diri maka akan semakin tinggi pula motivasi belajar siswa SMA Swasta RK Bintang Timur Pematang Siantar. This study aims to see the relationship between self-efficacy and learning motivation in RK Bintang Timur private high school students Pematang Siantar. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with the type of correlation research. The population in this study was 262 students of class XI RK Bintang Timur Private High School Pematang Siantar. The sample in this study were 72 students of class XI RK Bintang Timur Private High School Pematang Siantar. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire (questionnaire). The data analysis technique used in this research is validity test, reliability test, normality test and product moment correlation coefficient. Based on the results of the validity test on the variables of self-efficacy and learning motivation, it was found that there were 4 items and 3 items dropped from each variable. The results of the normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov method showed that the distribution of self-efficacy data was normally distributed and the distribution of learning motivation data was normally distributed. Based on the calculation of Product Moment Correlation, it is known that there is a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and learning motivation variables. This shows that the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the learning motivation of RK Bintang Timur Pematang Siantar Private High School students.
