The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between family support and motivation to recover for residents at the Rumoh Harapan Aceh rehabilitation center with a sample of 30 people. Methods of data collection using the family support scale and motivation to recover scale. Data analysis using product moment correlation. The results of data analysis showed that there was a positive relationship between family support and motivation to recover where rxy = 0.718 with a significance of p = 0.000 <0.05. So that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. The results of the calculation of the hypothetical and empirical mean values obtained are that the family support variable is known to have an empirical value of 87.73 with a hypothetical value of 70 and a standard deviation of 13.167 so that it falls into the high category. Meanwhile, the motivation variable to recover has an empirical value of 91.80 with a hypothetical value of 70 and a standard deviation of 13.657 so that it falls into the high category. Based on the calculation of r product moment, the effective contribution of X to Y is 51.6%, meaning that there are still 48.4% of other factors that influence it. Based on the results of empirical calculations, it shows that the residents in the orphanage have family support and the motivation to recover is classified as high.en_US
