Hubungan Antara Body Image Dengan Perilaku Diet Pada Mahasiswi Stambuk 2019 Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Medan Area

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara body image dengan perilaku diet pada mahasiswi stambuk 2019 di Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Medan Area. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 341 mahasiswi yang kemudian disaring sesuai dengan teknik purposive sampling sehingga berdasarkan kriteria penelitian sebanyak 110 responden terkumpul sebagai sampel penelitian. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala body image yang diukur berdasarkan aspek-aspek body image dan skala perilaku diet yang diukur dengan ciri-ciri perilaku diet. Teknik analisis menggunakan korelasi r Product Moment, hasil signifikan regresi p = 0,001 < 0,05, artinya demikian adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara body image (X) dan perilaku diet (Y) pada mahasiswi stambuk 2019 Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Medan Area. Nilai koefisien determinan (r2) adalah 0,408 atau 40,8%. Maka hipotesis diterima. Body image tergolong sedang dengan nilai rata-rata empirik body image sebesar 26,73 dan nilai rata-rata hipotetik ialah 27 dengan nilai SD sebesar 7,422. Nilai rata-rata empirik pada perilaku diet ialah 18,38 dan nilai ratarata hipotetik ialah 21 dengan nilai SD sebesar 3,670. This study aims to determine the correlation between body image and diet behavior among students batch 2019 Faculty of Psychology University of Medan Area. This research method uses quantitative methods. The research population was 341 female students who were then screened according to the purposive sampling technique, based on the research criteria so that 110 respondents were collected as research samples. Data collection uses a body image scale which is measured based on aspects of body image and a dietary behavior characteristics. The analysis technique uses r Product Moment Correlation, the results are significant regression p = 0,000 <0,05, meaning that there is a significant positive relationship between body image (X) and dietary behavior (Y) among students batch 2019 Faculty of Psychology University of Medan Area. The value of the determinant coefficient (r2) is 0,408 or 40,8%. Then the hypothesis is accepted. Body image classified as medium, the empirical average body image is 26,73 and the hypothetical average is 27 with an SD value of 7,422. The empirical mean value on dietary behavior is 18,38 and the hypothetical mean is 21 with an SD value of 3,670.
