Abstract: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dengan komitmen organisasi pada guru SMK Swasta Mandiri Deli Serdang. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian kuantitatif denga metode korelasional. Dalam penelitian ini populasi yang dimaksud guru yang berada di SMK Swasta Mandiri yang berjumlah 132 orang dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 97 orang. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan teknik convinience sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dalam penelitian ini terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi dimana rxy = 0.816 dengan signifikan p= 0.000<0.005, artinya semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja maka semakin tinggi pula komitmen organisasi hipotesis diterima. Diketahui dari hasil penelitian ini bahwa kepuasan kerja tinggin sebab nilai rata-rata empirik (63,49) berada diantara nilai rata-rata hipotetik (50), dan komitmen organisasi tinggi sebab nilai rata-rata empirik (17,97) berada diantara nilai rata-rata hipotetik (12,5). Sumbangan efektif kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi menunjukkan bahwa koefisien determinan (r2) sebesar = 0.666. ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel tersebut memberikan sumbangan afektif sebesar 66.6% dalam mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi sedangkan 33.4% lainnya dipengaruhi variabel lain. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment to the teachers of the Deli Serdang Mandiri Private Vocational School. This research is a quantitative research with correlational method. In this study, the population in question is teachers who are in Independent Private Vocational Schools, totaling 132 people with a research sample of 97 people. In this study, the researcher used convenience sampling technique. Based on the results of research that has been carried out in this study there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment where rxy = 0.816 with a significant p = 0.000 <0.005, meaning that the higher the job satisfaction, the higher the organizational commitment hypothesis is accepted. It is known from the results of this study that job satisfaction is high because the empirical average value (63.49) is between the hypothetical average value (50), and organizational commitment is high because the empirical average value (17.97) is between the average value. hypothetical mean (12,5). The effective contribution of job satisfaction and organizational commitment shows that the determinant coefficient (r2) is = 0.666. This shows that these variables provide an affective contribution of 66.6% in influencing organizational commitment while the other 33.4% are influenced by other variables.
