Hubungan Antara Dukungan Sosial Dengan Kebermaknaan Hidup Pada Lansia Di Pusat Pelayanan Orang Tua Sejahtera GBKP Sukamakmur

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan kebermaknaan hidup pada lansia di pusat pelayanan orang tua sejahtera GBKP sukamakmur. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah lansia yang berada di pusat pelayanan orang tua sejahtera GBKP sukamakmur yang berjumlah sebanyak 40 orang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah Korelasi-Product Moment. Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis r Product Moment dengan nilai atau koefisien (rxy) = 0,934 dan koefisien (r2.) = 0,872 dengan P = 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil ini menunjukkan hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima, yaitu ada hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan kebermaknaan hidup. Dukungan sosial berkontribusi terhadap kebermaknaan hidup sebesar 87,2%. Dari hasil ini diketahui bahwa masih terdapat 12,8% faktor lain dari kebermaknaan hidup yaitu dari faktor internal berupa pola pikir, pola sikap, self concept/konsep diri, corak penghayatan/kepercayaan, ibadah, kepribadian, faktor eksternal berupa material, pekerjaan, orang-orang terdekat yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Diketahui bahwa dukungan sosial pada lansia dinyatakan pada kategori rendah dengan mean empirik = 57,13 < mean hipotetik = 70 dimana selisi kedua mean melebihi bilangan SD = 12,340 dan kebermaknaan hidup tergolong sedang cenderung rendah dengan mean empirik = 73,38 < mean hipotetik = 87,5 dimana selisi kedua mean melebihi bilangan SD = 18,351. This study aims to determine the correlation between social support and the meaning of life in the elderly at the Prosperous Parents Service Center GBKP Sukamakmur. The sample in this study was the elderly who were at the GBKP Sukamakmur prosperous parent service center, totaling 40 samples. The research method in this study uses correlational quantitative. The data analysis method used in this research is Correlation-Product Moment. Based on the calculation of the Product Moment r analysis with a value or coefficient (rxy) = 0.934 and a coefficient (r2.) = 0.872 with P = 0.000 <0.05. These results indicate that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted, namely that there is a relationship between social support and the meaning of life. Social support contributes to the meaningfulness of life by 87.2%. From these results it is known that there are still 12.8% other factors of the meaning of life, namely from internal factors in the form of mindset, attitude pattern, self concept/self-concept, pattern of appreciation/belief, worship, personality, external factors in the form of material, work, closest people who were not examined in this study. It is known that social support in the elderly is stated in the low category with empirical mean = 57.13 < hypothetical mean = 70 where the difference between the two means exceeds SD = 12.340 and the meaning of life is classified as moderate and tends to be low with empirical mean = 73.38 < hypothetical mean = 87 ,5 where the difference between the two means exceeds the number SD = 18.351.
