dc.description.abstract | Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui daya hambat bakteri Staphylococcus aureus oleh ekstrak daun miana (Coleus atropurpureus). Metode Difusi cakram digunakan pada dengan perlakuan konsentrasi ekstrak (%): p1 20, p2 40, p3 60, p4 80 dan p5 100%.Antibiotik yaitu tetrasiklin digunakan sebagai kontrol positif dan akuades sebagai kontrol negatif. Setiap perlakuan dilakukan ulangan lima kali. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan konsentrasi ekstrak daun miana (Coleus atropurpureus) memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap daya hambat bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. Konsentrasi ekstrak yang lebih tinggi diikuti oleh zona hambat tertinggi. Kontrol positif (menggunakan tetracylin) memiliki hambatan 20,47mm Konsentrasi ekstrak 100% menunjukan daya hambat tertinggi menunjukan ekstrak etanol daun miana berpotensi menghambat Staphylococcus aures. Pada perlakuan positif menggunakan tetrasiklin zona hambat yang diperoleh 20,47mm dan kontrol negatif (akuades) tidak terbentuk zona hambat. The aim of the study was to investigate the inhibition of miana leaf (Coleus atropurpureus) extract. againts Staphylococcus aureus. the disc diffusion method was used using five extract concentration (%) (p1 20, p2 40, p3 60, p4 80 and p5 100%). Tetracyline and distilled water used as positive and negative control respectively. Each treatment was replicate 5 times. Data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the treatment at the concentration of miana leaf extract had a significant effect on Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. Miana extract can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, The higher extract concentration is followed by the highest inhibition zone. Positive control (using tetracyline) has inhibition 20,47mm. Extract concentration at 100% showed the highest inhibition (10,13mm) indicate etanolic extract of miana leaves are potential to inhibit Staphylococcus aureus. Positive control using tetracyline the inhibition zone was 20.47mm and negative control (aquadest) has no inhibition zone. | en_US |
