Analisa Bangkitan Perjalanan Penduduk sebagai Alternatif untuk Pemilihan Moda Transportasi di Kelurahan Tegal Sari Mandala I

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the rise of travel conducted by the middle and lower economic class population in Tegal Sari Mandala I Village, Medan Denai Sub-district. So that can be used as a consideration to predict the number of people traveling that occurred in the study area in the future.The primary survey was conducted by filling out questionnaires on 120 families in the study area consisting of lower-income households with monthly household income below Rp.600,000 while middle-class population with income of Rp.600,000-Rp 4,000,000 family income per month. The results of the questionnaire were tabulated into 12 independent variables and 3 dependent variables, using regression equations then analyzed through Microsoft Excel Program and SPSS Program. From the model test results, the best trip generation model in the study area is Y1 = 4,815 + 8,804 X8 + 8,942 X9, with Y1 (best model based on motorcycle ownership per week), X8 (number of working family member, X9 Number of family members with student status), Y2 = 2,678 + 7.018 X8 + 7,152 X9, with Y2 (best model by household with motorcycle per 5 working days), X8 (number of working family member, X9 (Number of family members with student status), Y3 = 0,719 + 1,935 X5 + 1,775 X9, Y2 (best model based on household with motorcycle per 2 days holiday), X5 (number of family member 24-55 years old ), X9 (number of family members with student / student status),
