dc.description.abstractLatar belakang masalah dalam skripsi ini adalah Potensi Pengembangan Kapulaga Sebagai Sumber Pendapatan Masyarakat Di Desa Ambukha Kecamatan Lolofitu Moi Kabupaten Nias Barat. Wilayah Indonesia merupakan daerah agraris, dan sebagian besar penduduknya bekerja pada sektor pertanian dan perkebunan. Tujuan Penelitian untuk mengetahui potensi pengembangan kapulaga sebagai sumber pendapatan masyarakat di Desa Ambukha Kecamatan Lolofitu Moi Kabupaten Nias Barat. Populasi adalah keselururuhan individu yang menjadi objek yaitu masyarakat petani Kapulaga di Desa Ambukha Kecamatan Lolofitu Moi Kabupaten Nias Barat. Teknik pengambilan sampel (teknik sampling) dalam penelitian ini adalah accidetal sampling yaitu teknik penentuan sampel berdasarkan secara kebetulan, peneliti memilih teknik tersebut untuk menghindari responden yang tidak berada ditempat saat peneliti melakukan penelitian, jadi sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 orang petani kapulaga di Desa Ambukha. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tanaman kapulaga dapat dijadikan komoditas utama penghasilan yang dapat dikembangkan di Desa Ambukha Kecamatan Lolofitu Moi Kabupaten Nias Barat dikarenakan budidaya yang cukup mudah dan memiliki nilai ekonomi yang tinggi. Diharapakan kepada petani kapulaga supaya memiliki usaha lain selain dari bertani tanaman kapulaga agar bisa menambah pendapatan dan dapat memenuhi kubutuhan sehari-hari. The background of the problem in this thesis is the Potential Developmentof Cardamom as a Source of Community Income in Ambukha Village, Lolofitu Moi District, West Nias Regency. The territory of Indonesia is an agricultural area, and most of the population works in the agricultural and plantation sectors. The purpose of the study was to determine the potential for developing cardamom as a source of community income in Ambukha Village, Lolofitu Moi District, West Nias Regency. The population is the entire individual who becomes the object, namely the cardamom farming community in Ambukha Village, Lolofitu Moi District, West Nias Regency. The sampling technique (sampling technique) in this study was accidental sampling, which is a sampling technique based on chance, the researcher chose this technique to avoid respondents who were not in place when the researcher conducted the research, so the sample in this study was 30 cardamom farmers in Ambukha Village. . Based on the results of the research, cardamom plants can be used as the main income commodity that can be developed in Ambukha Village, Lolofitu Moi District, West Nias Regency because its cultivation is quite easy and has high economic value. It is hoped that cardamom farmers will have other businesses apart from farming cardamom plants in order to increase their income and fulfill their daily needs.en_US
