Representasi Not In Education, Employment Or Training (Neet)Tokoh Ryouhei Arisu Dalam Drama Alice In Borderland

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Representasi Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) Tokoh Ryouhei Arisu dalam Drama Alice in Borderland. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana representasi seseorang yang tidak dalam Pendidikan, tidak bekerja dan tidak dalam pelatihan (NEET) yang ditampilkan Ryouhei Arisu dalam drama Alice in Borderland yang ditayangkan Netflix pada Desember 2020. Teori yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah teori representasi dari John Fiske yang dibagi ke dalam tiga level, yaitu: level realitas, level representasi dan level ideologi. Untuk mendapat informasi mengenai NEET, peneliti melakukan observasi dan wawancara dengan NEET dan pegawai Dinas Sosial melalui whatsapp. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bawa faktor yang mempengaruhi NEET adalah tingkat pendidikan yang rendah yang menyebabkan penarikan diri dari sosial. NEET juga biasanya berasal dari keluarga yang tinggal di daerah perkotaan. Karakteristik seorang NEET adalah orang yang menghabiskan waktunya dengan hal yang tidak bermanfaat, tidak mau bekerja dan mencari pekerjaan, menjadi parasit untuk orang lain, dan anti sosial. Drama Alice in Borderland tidak hanya menceritakan tentang Arisu yang seorang NEET tetapi juga menampilkan bagaimana seorang NEET keluar dari zona nyamannya dan berusaha untuk mengaktualisasikan diri. This research is entitled Representation of Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) of Ryouhei Arisu in Drama Alice in Borderland. This study figure out how the representation of the one not it education, employment or training (NEET) whom displayed by Ryouhei Arisu in the drama Alice in Borderland aired on Netflix in December 2020. The theory used in this study is the representation theory of John Fiske which is divided into three levels: the level of reality, the level of representation and the level of ideological. For researchers to get information about NEET, observations and interviews with NEET and with an employee of the Social Department by WhatsApp. The results showed that the factor NEET was the low rates of education which led to social withdrawal. NEETs also usually come from family lived in city. The characteristics of a NEET are people who are spent time with useless things, do not go to work and look for work, become parasite for others, and anti-social. The drama Alice in Borderland not only tell about Arisu who is a NEET but also show how a NEET goes out of the comfort zone and tried to actualize himself.
