Abstract: Kecemasan/Anxiety adalah suatu keadaan aprehensi atau keadaan khawatir yang mengeluhkan bahwa sesuatu yang buruk akan segera terjadi. Kecemasan bisa menjadi abnormal bila tingkatannya tidak sesuai dengan proporsi ancaman. Kecemasan/Anxiety merupakan salah satu kasus yang sering dimunculkan dalam adegan-adegan pada film, Salah satunya terdapat pada film yang penulis teliti yaitu Thirteen Reasons Why Season 4. Penelitian ini fokus pada pemaknaan pesan tentang Anxiety Disorder dari karakter Clay Jensen yang terkandung dalam serial drama Thirteen Reasons Why Season 4. Dalam pembahasan nya, disusun beberapa rumusan masalah, yaitu: bagaimana unsur Anxiety Disorder yang terdapat pada episode 3 serial ini dan bagaimana Signifier dan Signified dari Anxiety Disorder pada episode 3 serial ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana unsur Anxiety Disorder yang terdapat pada serial ini dan bagaimana bentuk Signifier dan Signified dari Anxiety Disorder pada serial ini. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan ialah penelitian kualitatif analisis semiotika. Unit analisis penelitian ini adalah potonganpotongan gambar, teks, suara, atau bunyi- bunyian yang terdapat dalam Episode 3 Serial Drama “Thirteen Reasons Why Season 4”. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode semiotika Ferdinand de Saussure dengan dua tahap yakni penanda dan petanda. Hasil dari penelitian ini melalui triangulasi data adalah gejala Anxiety dari Clay diklasifikasikan ke Generalize Anxiety Disorder. Anxiety is a state of apprehension or a state of worry that complains that something bad will happen soon. Anxiety can become abnormal if the level is not in proportion to the threat. Anxiety/Anxiety is one of the cases that often appears in scenes in films, one of which is found in the film that the author studied, namely Thirteen Reasons Why Season 4. This study focuses on the meaning of the message about Anxiety Disorder from the character Clay J ensen contained in the drama series. Thirteen Reasons Why Season 4. In the discussion, several problem formulations are formulated, namely: how are the elements of Anxiety Disorder contained in episode 3 of this series and how are Signifier and Signified of Anxiety Disorder in episode 3 of this series. The purpose of this study was to find out how the elements of Anxiety Disorder contained in this series and how the Signifier and Signified form of Anxiety Disorder in this series. This type of research is a qualitative research semiotic analysis. The unit of analysis of this research is the pieces of images, texts, sounds, or sounds contained in Episode 3 of the Drama Series “Thirteen Reasons Why Season 4”. Data analysis in this study used the semiotic method of Ferdinand de Saussure with two stages, namely the signifier and the signified. The result of this research through triangulation of data is that Clay's Anxiety symptoms are classified into Generalize Anxiety Disorder.
