dc.description.abstractSalah satu faktor yang menyebabkan sektor fluktuasinya produksi cabai adalah serangan organisme pengganggu tanaman (OPT). Penanganan OPT yang kurang tepat mengakibatkan kerugian yang cukup besar baik berupa kehilangan hasil tanaman. Upaya mengatasi serangan OPT dapat dilakukan dengan penanaman refugia yang berfungsi sebagai sumber pakan, alternatif yang akan mendatangkan musuh alami. Selain itu, dengan mempertahankan kesuburan dengan memberikan kompos kotoran sapi pemberian mikoriza sebagai agen hayati akan mampu menjaga kualitas tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompos limbah sapi dan fungi mikoriza arbuskular dalam pertumbuhan dan produksi pada tanaman cabai merah yang berrefugia kembang kotokan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor, yaitu : kompos limbah sapi dan fungi mikoriza arbuskular. Kompos limbah sapi terdiri dari 5 taraf, yaitu: K0= tanpa pemberian kompos limbah sapi, K1= kompos limbah sapi dosis 5 ton ha-1, K2= kompos limbah sapi dosis 10 ton ha-1, K3= kompos limbah sapi dosis 15 ton ha-1, K4= kompos limbah sapi dosis 20 ton ha-1. Sedangkan fungi mikoriza arbuskula terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu: M0= tanpa FMA, M1= FMA sebanyak 50 kg ha-1, M2= FMA sebanyak 100 kg ha-1, M3= FMA sebanyak 150 kg ha-1. Variabel pengamatan meliputi : tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang, umur berbunga, jumlah buah/tanaman sampel, produksi per tanaman sampel, produksi per plot dan intensitas serangan hama dan penyakit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan FMA berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah buah per tanaman, produksi per tanaman dan produksi per plot, namun tidak berbeda nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang, dan umur berbunga tanaman cabai merah varietas Laris. Perlakuan FMA dengan dosis 150 kg ha-1 (M3) memiliki rataan nilai tertinggi terhadap seluruh parameter yang diamati. One of the factors that cause the sector to fluctuate in chili production is the attack of plant pest organisms (OPT). Improper handling of plant pests organisms result in considerable losses of cropt yields. Overcoming pest attacks can be conducted by planting refugia which serves as a source of food, an alternative that will bring in natural enemies. In addition, maintaining fertility by providing cow dung compost with mycorrhizae as a biological agent will be able to maintain soil quality. This study aimed to determine the effect of cow waste compost and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi on the growth and production of red chili plants with Kotokan flower plants. The research method uses a factorial randomized block design consisting of 2 factors, namely: cow waste compost and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi. Cow waste compost consists of 5 levels, namely: K0 = without giving cow waste compost, K1 = cow waste compost at a dose of 5 tons ha-1, K2 = cow waste compost at a dose of 10 tons ha-1, K3 = cow waste compost at a dose of 15 tons ha-1, K4= cow waste compost dose of 20 tons ha-1. While, arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi consisted of 4 levels, namely: M0= without AMF, M1= AMF 50 kg ha-1, M2= AMF 100 kg ha-1, M3= AMF 150 kg ha-1. Observation variables included: plant height, number of branches, flowering age, number of fruit/plant samples, production per sample plant, production per plot, and intensity of pest and disease attacks. The results showed that AMF had a very significant effect on the number of fruits per plant, production per plant, and production per plot. However, it's not significantly different on plant height, number of branches, and flowering age of Laris varieties of red chili. AMF treatment with a dose of 150 kg ha-1 (M3) had the highest average value for all observed parameters.en_US
