Abstract: | Spodoptera frugiperda sebagai hama yang relatif baru menyerang tanaman jagung di berbagai daerah di Indonesia, tetapi saat ini telah menyebar luas sebagai hama penting yang menyerang titik tumbuh. Pemanfaatan jamur entomopatogen dalam pengendalian hama S. frugiperda menjadi alternatif pengendalian yang penting di uji coba. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui Konsentrasi yang efektif dari jamur entomopatogen Metarhizium anisopliae dan Beauveria bassiana terhadap mortalitas larva S. frugiperda instar 2 dan instar 4 pada tanaman jagung. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor dan 2 ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu Instar Larva S. frugiperda yang terdiri dari 2 taraf, I₁= Instar 2 dan I₂= Instar 4 dan faktor kedua yaitu Konsentrasi Aplikasi jamur M. anisopliae dan B. bassiana yang terdiri dari 7 taraf, P0= Tanpa Perlakuan, P1= M. anisopliae 25 gr/l, P2= M. anisopliae 50 gr/l, P3= M. anisopliae 75 gr/l, P4= B. bassiana 25 gr/l, P5= B. bassiana 50 gr/l, P6= B.bassiana 75 gr/l dengan dua ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa konsentrasi jamur M. anisopliae dan B. bassiana memberikan pengaruh berbeda sangat nyata terhadap mortalitas larva S. frugiperda. Mortalitas larva tertinggi terjadi pada perlakuan I1P3 (instar 2 aplikasi M. anisopliae 75 gr/l) dan perlakua I1P6 (instar 2 aplikasi B. bassiana 75gr/l) sebesar 100%. Perlakuan Instar 2 lebih peka dari instar 4 terhadap aplikasi jamur M. anisopliae dan B. bassiana dengan nilai LT₅₀ = 5,94 hari, dan nilai LC₅₀ = 38 gr/l. Pengaplikasian jamur M.anisopliae dan B. bassiana dengan konsentransi tertinggi yaitu 75gr/l pada instar 2 dan 4 menunjukan persentase terendah terhadap perubahan larva jadi pupa dan pupa jadi imago. Konsumsi pakan larva tertinggi terjadi pada 2 hari setelah aplikasi (HSA) dengan nilai rataan konsumsi pakan yaitu 3,37 gr/2 hari pada perlakuan (I₂) instar 4. Spodoptera frugiperda is a relatively new pest that attacks maize in various regions in Indonesia, but has now become widespread as an important pest that attacks growing points. The use of entomopathogen fungi in controlling S. frugiperda is an important alternative for control in trails. The aim of this study was to determine the effective concentration of the entomopathohen fungi Metarhizium anisopliae and Beauveria bassiana on the mortaliy of S. frugiperda larva instar 2 and instar 4 in maize. This study used a Factorial Completely Randomized design consisting of 2 factors and 2 replications. The first factor was S. frugiperda larva instar which consisted of 2 levels, I₁= Instar 2 and I₂= Instar 4 and the second factor is the application concentration of M. anisopliae and B. bassiana which consists of 7 levels, P0 = without treatment, P1= M. anisopliae 25 gr/l, P2=M. anisopliae 50 gr/l, P3=M.anisopliae 75 gr/l, P4=B. bassiana 25 gr/l, P5=B. bassiana 50 gr/l, P6=B. bassiana 75 gr/l, with two replications. The result showed that the concentration of the fungi M. anisopliae and B. bassiana had a very significant effect on the mortality of S. frugiperda larva. The highest larval mortality was in the I1P3 treatment (instar 2 application of M. anisopliae 75gr/l) and the I1P6 treatment (instar 2 application B. bassiana 75 gr/l) of 100 %. Instar 2 treatment was more sensitive than instar 4 to the application of fungi M. anisopliae and B. bassiana whith LT₅₀ = 5,94 days, and LC₅₀ = 38 gr/l. the application of M. anisopliae and B. bassiana mushrooms with the highest concentration of 75 gr/l in the instar 2 and 4 showed the lowest percentage of changes from larva – pupa and pupa – imago. The highest larval feed consumption occurred 2 days after application with the average value of feed consumption being 3.37 gr/2 days in treatment (I₂) instar 4. |
