dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Etos Kerja, Kesejahteraan Psikologis, dan Kompetensi Sosial Guru di Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan. Kompetensi Sosial Guru adalah frekuensi siswa untuk memiliki kemauan dalam kegiatan rutin maupun program sekolah baik di dalam dan di luar kelas dengan indikator perilaku, emosional dan kognitif. Hipotesis yang diajukan yaitu Ada hubungan positif antara Etos Kerja dan Kesejahteraan Psikologis dengan Kompetensi Sosial Guru. Teknik sampling dengan purposive sampling, sampel berjumlah 61 guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala Etos Kerja, Kesejahteraan Psikologis, dan skala Kompetensi Sosial Guru. Metode analisis data adalah regresi berganda. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan, maka di peroleh hasil determinan (Rxy) = 0,556 dengan p = 0.000 < 0.050, artinya ada hubungan positif Etos Kerja dan Kesejahteraan Psikologis terhadap Kompetensi Sosial Guru, semakin tinggi Etos Kerja dan semakin tinggi Kesejahteraan Psikologis maka semakin tinggi Kompetensi Sosial Guru. Etos Kerja dan Kesejahteraan Psikologis terhadap Kompetensi Sosial Guru sebesar 30.9%. Masih terdapat pengaruh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. This study aims to determine the correlation between Work Ethic, Psychological Well-Being, and Social Competence of Teachers in Percut Sei Tuan District. Teacher Social Competence is related to the ability of educators as part of the community to communicate and associate effectively with students, fellow educators, education staff, parents of guardians of students and the community. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive correlation between Work Ethic and Psychological Well-Being with the Social Competence of Teachers. The data collection method uses a scale of work ethic, psychological well-being and social competence of the teacher. Sampling technique with total sampling, the sample amounted to 61 teachers. This study used the Scale of Work Ethic, Psychological Well-Being, and the scale of Social Competence of Teachers. The data analysis method is regression. Based on the data analysis carried out, the results of the determinant coefficient (Rxy) = 0.556 with p = 0.000 < 0.050, meaning that there is a positive correlation between Work Ethic and Psychological Well-being to Teacher Social Competence, the higher the Work Ethic and the higher the Psychological Well-being, the higher the Teacher's Social Competence. Work Ethic and Psychological Well-Being towards Teacher Social Competence by 30.9%. There are still influences of other factors that affect the social competence of teachers, namely emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence factors that were not studied in this study.en_US
