dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan pengawasan melekat dengan disiplin kerja pada pegawai di instansi x kota medan. Disiplin kerja merupakan kesadaran dan kesediaan dari seseorang untuk mengontrol dan mengendalikan dirinya maupun orang lain agar mematuhi dan menaati peraturan organisasi baik secara tertulis maupun tidak tertulis. Pengawasan melekat adalah suatu kegiatan pemantauan, pemeriksaan dan evaluasi yang dilakukan terus menerus oleh seorang atasan kepada bawahannya untuk mencegah terjadinya penyalahgunaan wewenang dan penyimpangan dari pegawai yang telah ditetapkan oleh sebuat perusahaan maupun organisasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif korelasi. Penelitian pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model skala pengawasan melekat dan skala disiplin kerja. Analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment ( sebesar 0.915 dengan P=0,000 < 0,05, artinya terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara pengawasan melekat dengan disiplin kerja pada pegawai di Instansi X Kota Medan, yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin rendah pengawasan melekat yang didapat maka disiplin kerja akan semakin rendah. Sebaliknya semakin tinggi pengawasan melekat yang didapat pegawai maka perilaku disiplin kerja akan semakin tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan data yang diperoleh tingkat pengawasan melekat pada pegawai dalam penelitian ini tergolong rendah dimana mean hipotetik (55) > mean empirik (45,51) dan selisihnya melebihi bilangan satu SD (6.435). Pada disiplin kerja tergolong rendah dimana mean hipotetik (65) > mean empirik (53,92) dan selisihnya melebihi bilangan satu SD (7,818). Adapun koefisien determinasi dari korelasi tersebut sebesar ( = 0,836 artinya pengawasan melekat memberikan sumbangan efektif terhadap disiplin kerja sebesar 83,6%. Berdasarkan analisis data, maka hipotesis dinyatakan diterima. The research is to see the surveillance relationship attached to the discipline of employees in the x-city arena. Embedded supervision is a monitoring, inspection and evaluation activity that is carried out continuously by a superior to his subordinates to prevent abuse of authority and deviations from employees who have been determined by a company or organization. The approach used in this study is the quantitative approach of correlation. Data retrieval research is done using an embedded scale model of surveillance and a disciplined scale of work. Data analysis USES product moment correlation techniques (0915 by p =0,000 0.05, meaning there is a positive and significant link between supervision attached to the domestic discipline of employees in the terrain city office, indicating that the lower the surveillance is acquired and the lower the job discipline will be. Instead, the higher the surveillance that an employee gets, the more disciplined the work increases. Based on the results of the calculation of the data obtained, the level of supervision attached to employees in this study is relatively low where the hypothetical mean (55) > empirical mean (45.51) and the difference exceeds the number one SD (6,435). The work discipline is classified as low where the hypothetical mean (65) > empirical mean (53.92) and the difference exceeds the number one SD (7.818). As for the coefficient determinations of the correlation by (= 0.836 means the organization's commitment to contribute effectively to job discipline of 83.6%. Based on data analysis, then the hypothesis is stated to be accepted.en_US
