Hubungan Pola Asuh Otoriter dengan Kecenderungan Cinderella Complex pada Remaja Madya Putri di SMA Negeri 1 Kuala

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara empirik hubungan antara pola asuh otoriter dengan kecenderungan Cinderella complex pada remaja madya putri di SMA Negeri 1 Kuala. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 34 siswi dengan teknik samplingnya adalah purposive sampling. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah ada hubungan positif antara pola asuh otoriter dengan kecenderungan Cinderella complex pada remaja madya putri di SMA Negeri 1 Kuala. Screening pertama dilakukan menggunakan skala ciri-ciri pola asuh otoriter, setelah didapatkan hasil screening pola asuh otoriter sebanyak 124 kemudian dilakukan screening kedua menggunakan skala ciri-ciri Cinderella complex dan didapatkan hasil 34 siswi yang diasuh secara otoriter dan mengalami kecenderungan Cinderella complex kemudian 34 siswi tersebut diberikan skala penelitian berdasarkan aspek-aspek pola asuh otoriter dan Cinderella complex. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik korelasi Product Moment. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh nilai korelasi sebesar 0,487 dengan p= 0,007 < 0,05. Artinya ada hubungan antara pola asuh otoriter dengan kecenderungan Cinderella complex. Dari hasil yang diperoleh ini, maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan, dinyatakan diterima. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data lanjutan diketahui bahwa pola asuh otoriter di SMA Negeri 1 Kuala tergolong rendah, dan kecenderungan Cinderella complex di SMA Negeri 1 Kuala juga tergolong rendah. This study aims to empirically determine the correlation between authoritarian parenting and the tendency of the Cinderella complex in middle school girls at SMA Negeri 1 Kuala. The research method used is a survey. The sample in this study were 34 female students with the sampling technique being purposive sampling. The hypothesis put forward is that there is a positive correlation between authoritarian parenting styles and the tendency of the Cinderella complex in young women at SMA Negeri 1 Kuala. The first screening was carried out using a scale of characteristics of authoritarian parenting, after the results of screening of authoritarian parenting were obtained as many as 124 then a second screening was carried out using a scale of characteristics of the Cinderella complex and the results obtained were 34 students who were raised in an authoritarian manner and experienced a tendency for Cinderella complex then 34 of these students given a research scale based on aspects of authoritarian parenting and Cinderella complex. The data analysis method used is the Product Moment correlation technique. Based on data analysis, a correlation value of 0.487 was obtained with p = 0.007 <0.05. This means that there is a correlation between authoritarian parenting and the tendency of the Cinderella complex. From the results obtained, it can be stated that the hypothesis proposed is declared accepted. Based on the results of further data analysis, it is known that the authoritarian parenting style at SMA Negeri 1 Kuala is relatively low, and the tendency for Cinderella complex at SMA Negeri 1 Kuala is also relatively low.
