This study aims to examine the correlation between self-control and consumptive behavior in early adult K-Pop fans in Medan City. This research uses quantitative research methods. The subjects in this study were early adult woman of K-Pop fans aged 18-25 years who numbered 50 people. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a Likert scale model with two scales, namely the self-control scale and consumptive behavior scale complied by the researcher. The results of the research using the product moment correlation technique (π‘Ÿπ‘₯𝑦 ) are known to be -0.789 with p = 0.000 < 0.05. This means that there is a significant negative correlation between self-control and consumptive behavior in K-Pop fans, which shows that the lower the self-control of K-Pop fans, the higher the consumptive behavior carried out and the hypothesis in this study is accepted. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that K-Pop fans’ self-control is low with hypothetical mean (72.5) > empirical mean (59.96) and difference exceeds one SD (10.413), consumptive behavior is high with a hypothetical mean (80) < mean empirically (92.38) and the difference exceeds one SD (10.528). Self-control contributed 62.8% to consumptive behavior.en_US
