Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan antara Dukungan Sosial Dengan Stres Kerja Perawat Instalasi Bedah Sentral RSUP Haji Adam Malik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 orang. Adapun teknik yang dipakai peneliti yaitu dengan total sampling. Skala stress kerja disusun berdasarkan aspek-aspek stres kerja. Dukungan social dalam penelitian ini diukur berdasarkan aspek dukungan sosial. Berdasarkan tabel diatas, diperoleh informasi bahwa pada hubungan Dukungan Sosial dengan Stres Kerja diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 nilai tersebut < 0.05 maka hipotesis diterima, yang artinya terdapat hubungan antara Dukungan Sosial dengan Stres Kerja. Pada angka koefisien korelasi sebesar -0.473, artinya tingkat keeratan hubungan (korelasi) antara variabel Dukungan Sosial dengan Stres Kerja adalah sebesar -0.473 atau masuk dalam kriteria tinggi. Nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar -0.473, dimana nilai tersebut negatif yang artinya hubungan kedua variabel tersebut berlawanan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan semakin tinggi nilai dari variabel dukungan sosial maka semakin rendah stress kerja. Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat adalah r2= 0,225. Ini menunjukkan bahwa Dukungan sosial berdistribusi sebesar 22,5% terhadap Stres kerja. Berdasarkan hasil uji mean dapat dilihat bahwa dukungan sosial memperoleh hasil rendah dengan nilai mean empirik sebesar 66,03 dan nilai mean hipotetik sebesar 82,5. Stres kerja memperoleh hasil tinggi dengan nilai mean empirik sebesar 118.10 dan mean hipotetik sebesar 102.5. This study aims to determine the correlation between social support and work stress of nurses in the Central Surgery Installation of Haji Adam Malik General Hospital. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 100 people. The technique used by researchers is the total sampling. The work stress scale is arranged based on the aspects of work stress. Social support in this study is measured based on aspects of social support. Based on the table above, information is obtained that in the relationship between Social Support and Work Stress, a significance value of 0.000 is obtained, the value is <0.05, so the hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a relationship between Social Support and Work Stress. The correlation coefficient is -0.473, which means that the correlation between Social Support and Work Stress is -0.473 or very strong. The correlation coefficient value is -0.473, where the value is negative, which means that the relationship between the two variables is opposite. Thus it can be concluded that the high the value of the social support variable, the lower the work stress. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is r2= 0.225. This shows that social support is distributed by 22.5% of work stress.Based on the results of the mean test, it can be seen that social support has low results with an empirical mean value of 66.03 and a hypothetical mean value of 82.5. Work stress obtained high results with an empirical mean value of 118.10 and a hypothetical mean of 102.5.
