dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang gambaran kontrol diri individu dewasa awal yang bermain game online di desa Rumah pil-pil kecamatan Sibolangit. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 43 orang dari keseluruhan populasi yang berjumlah 140 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrument skala psikologis dengan format skala likert, dimana skala yang digunakan yaitu skala yang disusun berdasarkan teori kontrol diri. Berdasarkan analisis data terhadap semua aspek maka diketahui hasil bahwa kelompok sampel penelitian memiliki kontrol kognitif yang tergolong sedang cenderung tinggi, kontrol perilaku tergolong sedang cenderung tinggi dan kontrol keputusan tergolong sedang cenderung tinggi sehingga variabel kontrol diri menunjukkan hasil yang tergolong sedang cenderung ke tinggi (mean empirik 80,65 tidak melebihi satu bilangan SD dengan mean hipotetik 67,50). Selanjutnya analisis kontribusi terhadap masing-masing aspek kontrol diri, diketahui bahwa aspek kontrol kognitif memiliki kontribusi terbesar (48,08%) dibanding kedua aspek lainnya yaitu aspek kontrol perilaku (28,83%) dan aspek kontrol keputusan (23,09%). This study aims to find out about the self-control picture of early adult individuals who play online games in the village of Rumah pil-pil sub-district Sibolangit. The study sample numbered 43 people out of a total population of 140 people. Sampling was carried out using the Purposive Sampling technique. Data collection in this study used psychological scale instruments with a likert scale format, where the scale used was a scale arranged based on self-control theory. Based on data analysis of all aspects, it is known that the results of the research sample group have cognitive control that is classified as moderate tends to be high, behavioral control is classified as medium tends to be high and decision control is classified as medium tends to be high so that the self-control variable shows results that are classified as moderate tend to be high (empirical mean 80.65 does not exceed one SD number with a hypothetical mean of 67.50). Furthermore, the analysis of the contribution to each aspect of self-control, it is known that the cognitive control aspect has the largest contribution (48.08%) compared to the other two aspects, namely the behavioral control aspect (28.83%) and the decision control aspect (23.09%).en_US
