This study was conducted to determine the correlation between social support and the meaning of life in adolescents who live in the Mamiyai Al-Ittihadiyah Orphanage, Medan City. The research subjects were 35 teenagers who lived in the Mamiyai Al-Ittihadiyah orphanage in Medan. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a positive correlation between social support and the meaning of life for the orphanage youth. Assuming, the higher the social support, the higher the meaning of life, and conversely, the lower the social support, the lower the meaning of life. This research uses correlational quantitative research methods. The method of data analysis in this study uses correlation-product moment from Karl Pearson. The correlation coefficient value is rxy = 0.982 with significance p = 0.000 <0.05, and the determinant coefficient is r2 = 0.964. The results of this study indicate that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted, that is, there is a positive correlation between social support and the meaningfulness of life for the orphanage youth. Social support contributes 96.40% to the meaningfulness of life. The results of the calculation of the hypothetical mean and empirical mean of the social support variable are low (hypothetical mean = 112,500 > empirical mean = 88,000, the difference exceeds the number SD = 13,148) and the results of the hypothetical mean and empirical mean of the meaningfulness of life variable are also low (hypothetical mean = 107,500 > mean empirical = 84,843, the difference exceeds the number SD = 12,963).
