Hubungan Antara Beban Kerja Dengan Stres Kerja Pada Pegawai Di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas II B Tanjungbalai

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara beban kerja dengan stres kerja pada pegawai di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas II B Tanjungbalai. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai pada regu pengamanan dan penjagaan yang berjumlah 55 orang. Untuk menentukan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling, yaitu keseluruhan dari populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian yang juga berjumlah 55 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala beban kerja dan stres kerja. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan metode analisis korelasional, diketahui bahwa ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara beban kerja dengan stres kerja dilihat nilai koefisien (Rxy) = 0,850 dengan p = 0.000 < 0.050, artinya hipotesis yang mengatakan ada hubungan positif antara beban kerja dengan stres kerja semakin tinggi beban kerja maka akan semakin tinggi stres kerja, begitu pula sebaliknya semakin rendah beban kerja maka akan semakin rendah stres kerja diterima. Dalam penelitian ini beban kerja pada pegawai tergolong tinggi, berdasarkan pada nilai rata-rata empirik yang diperoleh (70,65) lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata hipotetik (55). Selanjutnya diketahui bahwa stres kerja pada pegawai tergolong tinggi, hal tersebut berdasarkan pada nilai rata-rata empirik yang diperoleh (122,71) lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata hipotetik (105). Begitu juga dengan nilai koefisien diterminan (R2) yang memiliki nilai 0,723, hal ini setara dengan 72,3%, artinya adalah bahwa beban kerja berkontribusi sebesar 72,3% terhadap stres kerja pada pegawai. Adapun sumbangan efektif dari beban kerja mempengaruhi stres kerja sebesar 27,7%. This study aims to look at the relationship between workload and work pressure on employees at Class II B Correctional Institution Tanjungbalai. The research approach used is a quantitative approach to the type of correlation research. The population in this study were employees in the security and guard team, totaling 55 people. To determine the number of samples in this study using a total sampling technique, namely the entire population is used as a research sample which also amounts to 55 people. Data collection was carried out using a scale of workload and work stress. Based on the results of data analysis using the correlational analysis method, it is known that there is a significant positive relationship between workload and work stress seen by the coefficient value (Rxy) = 0.850 with p = 0.000 <0.050, meaning that the hypothesis says there is a positive relationship between workload and work stress the higher the workload, the higher the work stress, and vice versa, the lower the workload, the lower the work stress received. In this study the workload on employees is high, based on the empirical average value obtained (70.65) is greater than the hypothetical average value (55). Furthermore, it is known that work stress on employees is high, this is based on the empirical average value obtained (122.71) which is greater than the hypothetical average value (105). Likewise with the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) which has a value of 0.723, this is equivalent to 72.3%, meaning that workload contributes 72.3% to work stress on employees. The effective contribution of workload affects work stress by 27.7%.
