Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara self efficacy dengan Imotivasi belajar siswa SMP Pembangun Medan. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 82 orang siswa kelas VIII SMP Pembangun Medan. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan teknik yang diambil yaitu total sampling sebanyak 82 orang siswa kelas VIII SMP Pembangun Medan. Self efficacy dapat dilihat dari tiga aspek-aspek level, strength dan generality. Motivasi belajar dilihat dari tiga aspek-aspek motivasi belajar yaitu menggerakkan, mengarahkan dan menopang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi r Product Moment, diketahui bahwa hubungan positif antara self efficacy dengan motivasi belajar, dimanarxy = 0,628 dengan signifikan p = 0.000 < 0,050. Dengan asumsi, bahwa semakin tinggi self efficacy pada siswa maka akan tinggi motivasi belajar, sebaliknya semakin rendah self efficacy pada siswa maka akan semakin rendah moivasi belajar tersebut. Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas X dengan variabel terikat Y adalah sebesar r2 = 0,394 ini menunjukkan bahwa self efficacy berkontribusi terhadap motivasi belajar sebesar 39,4%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada 60, 6 % faktor lain yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar. Berdasarkan uraian di atas dapat dilihat bahwa Self efficacy tergolong tinggi dengan nilai mean hipotetik sebesar 60 dan mean empirik sebesar 69,46. Motivasi belajar tergolong tinggi dengan nilai mean hipotetik sebesar 66 dan mean empirik sebesar 77,28. This study aims to look at the correlation of between self-efficacy and the learning motivation of SMP Pembangun Medan students. The type of research used in this research is correlational quantitative. The population in this study were 82 students of class VIII SMP Pembangun Medan. Sampling in this study used a probability sampling technique with a total sampling technique of 82 students of class VIII SMP Pembangunan Medan. Self efficacy can be seen from three aspects of level, strength and generality. Learning motivation is seen from three aspects of learning motivation, namely moving, directing and supporting. Based on the results of the r Product Moment correlation analysis, it is known that there is a positive correlation of between self-efficacy and learning motivation, where rxy = 0.628 with a significant p = 0.000 <0.050. With the assumption that the higher the self-efficacy of students, the higher the motivation to learn, conversely, the lower the selfefficacy of students, the lower the motivation to learn. The coefficient of determination (r2) of the correlation of between the independent variable X and the dependent variable Y is r2 = 0.394, which indicates that self-efficacy contributes to learning motivation by 39.4%. This shows that there are 60.6% of other factors that influence learning motivation. Based on the description above, it can be seen that self-efficacy is high with a hypothetical mean value of 60 and an empirical mean of 69.46. Learning motivation is high with a hypothetical mean value of 66 and an empirical mean of 77.28.
