Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan stres kerja dalam pelaksanaan work from office pasca pandemi covid-19 ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian pada pegawai administrasi Universitas Medan Area. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif komparasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mencakup seluruh pegawai administrasi setiap fakultas yang ada di kampus satu dan kampus dua Universitas Medan Area. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 38 pegawai dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Pengumpulan data stres kerja menggunakan skala Likert dan pengumpulan data skala tipe kepribadian menggunakan skala Guttman yang dianalisis menggunakan uji independent t-test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa ada perbedaan stress kerja antara kelompok subyek berkepribadian tipe A dan kelompok subyek berkepribadian tipe B dengan nilai sig 0,002< 0,05. Berdasarkan Hasil perhitungan nilai rata-rata hipotetik dan empiris diketahui bahwa pegawai administrasi Universitas Medan Area dengan kepribadian tipe A memiliki stres kerja dalam kategori sedang. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai mean hipotetik = (100,7273) dengan Standar Deviasi (SD) = 17,18023. Sedangkan pegawai administrasi Universitas Medan Area dengan kepribadian tipe B memiliki stres kerja dalam kategori rendah. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai mean hipotetik = (86,1875) dengan Standar Deviasi (SD) = 8,81830. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas maka hipotesis diterima bahwa tipe kepribadian A memiliki stres kerja yang lebih tinggi, sedangkan tipe kepribadian B memiliki stres kerja yang lebih rendah. This study aims to determine the difference in work stress in the implementation of work from office after the Covid-19 pandemic in terms of personality type in administrative employees of Medan Area University. The type of research used is comparative quantitative. The population in this study includes all administrative employees of each faculty on campus one and campus two of Medan Area University. The number of samples in this study was 38 employees with the sampling technique used was total sampling. Occupational stress data collection using the Likert scale and personality type scale data collection using the Guttman scale were analyzed using an independent t-test. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that there is a difference in work stress between the group of subjects with type A and the group of subjects with adian priprib type B with a sig value of 0.002< 0.05. Based on the results of the calculation of hypothetical and empirical average values, it is known that Medan Area University registration employees with type A personalities have work stress in the moderate category. This can be seen from the hypothetical mean value = (100.7273) with Standard Deviation (SD) = 17.18023. Meanwhile, administrative employees of Medan Area University with type B personalities have work stress in the low category. This can be seen from the hypothetical mean value = (86.1875) with Standard Deviation (SD) = 8.81830. Based on the results of the study above, the hypothesis is accepted that personality type A has higher work stress, while personality type B has lower work stress.
