Abstract: Dinding penahan tanah (retaining wall) merupakan suatu struktur konstruksi yang dibangun untuk menstabilkan tekanan tanah maupun kondisi tanah tertentu. Yang mana pada khususnya dinding penahan tanah dibuat diarea lereng alam maupun area lereng buatan serta daerah yang rawan akan terjadinnya tanah longsor akibat dari urugan tanah maupun kondisi tanah, faktor-faktor lainnya yang dapat menyebabkan tanah longsor seperti curah hujan yang tinggi yang mana curah hujan dapat membuat tanah longsor karena melalui tanah yang menyerap air akan masuk dan berkumpul dibagian dasar lereng sehingga dapat menimbulkan Gerakan lateral. Saat kondisi tanah terganggu yang dapat diakibatkan beberapa hal seperti getaran yang mana getaran tersebut diakibat adanya gempa, maupun peledakan, serta getaran mesin, kemudian kondisi air tanah, serta beberapa dampak hal lainnya yang mana proses tersebut dapat menurunkan sifat fisik, mekanik dari pada tanah tersebut. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini bertujuan menganalisis kestabilitas daripada dinding penahan tanah yang bertipe gravitasi (gravity wall). Analisis yang peneliti lakukan dengan memakai perhitungan manual. Analisis stabilitas dinding penahan tanah ditinjau dari beberapa hal baik itu dari segi penggulingan, pergeseran, serta keruntuhan daya dukung tanah. Oleh sebab itu maka dilakukan studi kasus mengenai dinding penahan tanah di Bendungan Lau Simeme dengan judul “Analisis Stabilitas Dinding penahan Tanah Type Gravity Wall pada Area Inlet Proyek Bendungan Lau Simeme”. Berdasarkan hasil Analisa serta perhitungan yang saya lakukan mengenai stabilitas dinding penahan tanah, maka diperoleh hasil yang dapat dijadikan kesimpulan bahwa perhitungan dinding penahan tanah di Proyek Pembangunan terowongan pengelak bendungan lau simeme, antara lain: Aman terhadap Stabilitas Penggulingan dengan nilai: Total: 9,553 Effect: 8,993, Aman terhadap Stabilitas Pergeseran dengan nilai: Total: 2,718 Effect: 2,709, Aman terhadap Stabilitas Keruntuhan Kapasitas Dukung Tanah dengan nilai: Total: 7,169≥3 Effect: 9,592≥3. A retaining wall is a construction structure built to stabilize soil pressure and specific soil conditions. Which, in particular, retaining walls are made in natural slope areas and artificial slope areas as well as areas that are prone to landslides due to landfills and soil conditions, other factors that can cause landslides such as high rainfall and rainfall can cause landslides. landslides because through the soil which absorbs water it will enter and gather at the base of the slope to cause lateral movement. When soil conditions are disturbed which can be caused by several things such as vibrations where the vibrations are the result of earthquakes, as well as explosions, as well as machine vibrations, then groundwater conditions, as well as several other impacts where the process can reduce the physical, mechanical properties of the soil. This research aims to analyze the stability of the gravity retaining wall. The analysis that the researchers did use manual calculations. Analysis of the strength of the retaining wall in terms of several things both in terms of overturning, shifting, and collapse of the soil's carrying capacity. Therefore, a case study was carried out regarding the retaining wall at the Lau Simeme Dam with the title "Analysis of Gravity Wall Type Retaining Wall Stability in the Inlet Area of the Lau Simeme Dam Project". Based on the results of the analysis and calculations that I did regarding the stability of the retaining wall, the results obtained can be concluded that the calculation of the retaining wall in the lau simeme dam avoidance tunnel development project includes: Safe against Overturning Stability with a value of Total: 9,553 Effect: 8,993 Safe against Shear Stability with value: Total: 2,718 Effect: 2,709 Safe against Collapse Stability Soil Bearing Capacity with value: Total: 7.169≥3 Effect: 9,592≥3.
