Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh gaji terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan bagian produksi PT. Oleochem and Soap Industry KIM II Mabar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling, yaitu semua populasi karyawan tetap yang bekerja pada bagian produksi PT. Oleochem and Soap Industry KIM II Mabar yang berjumlah 183 orang. Hasil penelitian memaparkan bahwa: (1) Ada pengaruh positif gaji terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan yang berdasarkan sumbangan efektif dari hasil penelitian yaitu sebesar 88,60%, sedangkan sisanya 11,40% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. (2) Para karyawan bagian produksi PT. Oleochem and Soap Industry KIM II Mabar memiliki gaji dan motivasi kerja yang rendah (mean empirik = 116.486 > mean hipotetik = 130.000) dengan SD 8.238. This study aims to determine the effect of salary on the work motivation of employees in the production department of PT. Oleochem and Soap Industry KIM II Mabar. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling, namely all the population of permanent employees working in the production department of PT. Oleochem and Soap Industry KIM II Mabar, totaling 183 people. The results of the study show that: (1) There is a positive effect of salary on employee motivation based on the effective contribution of the research results, namely 88.60%, while the remaining 11.40% is influenced by other factors not examined. (2) Employees of the production division of PT. KIM II Mabar's Oleochem and Soap Industry has a low salary and work motivation (empirical mean = 116,486 > hypothetical mean = 130,000) with an SD of 8,238.
