Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan dukungan sosial dengan Subjective well being di SMP Yayasan Pendidikan Gemilang Bangsa. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan positif antara dukungan sosial dengan subjective well being siswa. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 70 siswa dan pengambilan data dilakukan dengan Teknik total sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala yang sudah di bakukan diantaranya untuk mengukur subjective well being maka digunakan Positive Affect Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS) yang terdiri atas 20 item yang memuat kata sifat positif dan negatif yang menggambarkan kondisi emosi responden sedangkan untuk mengukur dukungan sosial menggunakan The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) yang terdiri dari 12 item yang terdiri dari tiga subskala yaitu dukungan dari keluarga (item 3, 4, 8, dan 11; α = 0,929), teman (item 6, 7, 9, dan 12; α = 0,942) , dan seseorang yang berarti (item 1, 2, 5, dan 10; α = 0,941), masing-masing subskala berisi empat item. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji korelasi dan Spearman rho diketahui adanya hubungan positif antara dukungan sosial dimana emosi bahagia merupakan komponen kesejahteraan subjektif dengan nilai korelasi mendekati 1 yaitu 0,620. Uji korelasi Pearson rho juga didapatkan nilai yang mendekati 1 yaitu 0,706 dengan p < 0,001, sehingga dapat dikatakan korelasi pada penelitian ini tinggi dan dapat diterima. The purpose of this study was to analysis at the correlation of social support and subjective well-being at the SMP Yayasan Pendidikan Gemilang Bangsa. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive relationship between social support and students' subjective well-being. The subjects in this study were 70 students and data collection was carried out using the total sampling technique. This study used a scale that had been standardized, including to measure subjective well-being, Positive Affect Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS) which consists of 20 items containing positive and negative adjectives that describe the emotional state of the respondents while to measure social support using The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) which consists of 12 items consisting of three subscale namely support from family (items 3, 4, 8, and 11; α = 0.929), friends (items 6, 7, 9, and 12; α = 0.942), and someone who means (items 1, 2, 5, and 10; α = 0.941), each subscale contains four items. . Based on the results of data analysis and Spearman rho correlation tests, it is known that there is a positive relationship between social support where happy emotions are a component of subjective wellbeing with a correlation value close to 1, namely 0.620. The Pearson rho correlation test also obtained a value close to 1, namely 0.706 with p <0.001, so that it can be said that the correlation in this study was high and acceptable.
