Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara dukungan orang tua dengan dengan prestasi belajar siswa SMA Negeri 1 Namorambe Desa Kuta Tengah Kecamatan Deli Serdang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional, dengan teknik pengumpulan data skala likert. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 623 siswa-siswi dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini adalah 115 orang siswa-siswi. Analisis yang digunakan adalah uji analisis korelasi bivariate pearson. Dapat dilihat nilai Sig (2-tailed) bernilai 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya terdapat korelasi secara signifikan diantara Dukungan Orang Tua dengan Prestasi Belajar Siswa. Sementara itu, r hitung bernilai 0,410 dimana lebih besar dari r tabel yakni 0,182 akhirnya memperlihatkan terdapatnya korelasi secara signifikan diantara Dukungan otang tua dengan prestasi belajar. Supaya bisa mengetahui kondisi dukungan otang tua dan prestasi belajar, maka perlu dibandingkan antara mean/nilai rata-rata empirik dengan mean/nilai rata-rata hipotetik. Untuk variabel dukungan orang tua bilangan SD nya ialah 9.701, dengan Mean Hipotetik 55.000 dan Mean Empirik 39.304 yang berarti nilai Mean Empirik berada dibawah sehingga termasuk dalam golongan rendah sedangkan untuk variabel prestasi belajar bilangan SD ialah 11.179, dengan Mean Hipotetik 60.000 dan Mean Empirik 41.078 yang berarti nilai Mean Empirik berada dibawah sehingga termasuk golongan rendah This study aims to examine the cottrlation between parental support and student achievement at SMA Negeri 1 Namorambe, Kuta Tengah Village, Kecamatan, Deli Serdang. This research method uses the correlational method, with data collection techniques likert scale (brand image scale and purchase decision scale). The research population consisted of 623 students using purposive sampling technique. The number of samples in this study were 115 students. The analysis used is the Pearson bivariate correlation analysis test, where looking at the value of the linkage analysis test, there is a significant positive effect between Parental Support and Student Achievement. It can be seen that the Sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant correlation between Parental Support and Student Achievement. Meanwhile, r count is 0.410 which is greater than r table which is 0.182 which finally shows that there is a significant correlation between Parental Support and Student Achievement. In order to know the condition of parental support and academic achievement, it is necessary to compare the empirical mean/average value with the hypothetical mean/average value by taking into account the SD number of each variable. For the variable parental support, the SD number is 9,701, with a Hypothetical Mean of 55,000 and an Empirical Mean of 39,304 which means that the Empirical Mean is below so that it is included in the low class while for the learning achievement variable the SD number is 11,179, with a Hypothetical Mean of 60,000 and an Empirical Mean of 41,078 which means that the Empirical Mean value is below so it is included in the low group.
