dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan beban kerja terhadap stress kerja pada karyawan di Politkenik Penerbangan Medan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan Politeknik Penerbangan Medan berjumlah 105 orang, dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah berjumlah 50 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala beban kerja dan skala stress kerja yang diukur dengan menggunakan bentuk skala Likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik Korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai signifikansi korelasi p= 0,009 < 0,01, artinya ada hubungan positif antara beban kerja terhadap stress kerja pada karyawan di Politeknik Penerbangan Medan, dengan koefisien determinan (r2) sebesar 0,348 atau 34,8%. Dengan kata lain, hipotesis diterima. Beban kerja tergolong tinggi (mean empirik= 89,06 > mean hipotetik= 60 dimana selisih nya lebih dari bilang SD= 3,695) dan untuk stress kerja tergolong tinggi (mean empirik= 67,42 > mean hipotetik= 62,5 dimana selisih nya lebih dari bilangan SD= 12,12). This study aims to look at the relationship of workload to job stress in employees in Medan Aviation Politkenik. The population of this study were all employees of Medan Aviation Polytechnic amounted to 105 people, and the sample in this study amounted to 50 people, sampling techniques using purposive sampling. This research method uses quantitative methods. Data collection using workload scale and work stress scale measured using Likert scale. Data analysis techniques using Product moment correlation techniques. The results showed a significant correlation value of P= 0.009 < 0.01, meaning that there is a positive relationship between workload to job stress in employees at Medan Aviation Polytechnic, with a coefficient of determinant (r2) of 0.348 or 34.8%. In other words, the hypothesis is accepted. Workload is high (empirical mean= 89.06 > hypothetical mean= 60 where the difference is more than said SD= 3.695) and for work stress is high (empirical mean= 67.42 > hypothetical mean= 62.5 where the difference is more than the number SD= 12.12).en_US
