dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh kecanduan game online terhadap interaksi sosial remaja SMP negeri 4 takengon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, subjek penelitian ini adalah remaja di SMP negeri 4 takengon yang berusia diatas 13 tahun, jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 62 remaja. Sejalan dengan pembahasan yang ada didalam landasan teori,maka hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, ada pengaruh kecanduan game online terhadap interaksi sosial remaja maka semakin tinggi tingkat kecanduan game online maka semakin rendah interaksi sosial remaja, sebaliknya semakin rendah tingkat kecanduan game online terhadap remaja maka semakin tinggi interaksi sosial pada remaja SMP negeri 4 takengon penelitian ini menggunakn skala kecanduan game online yaitu terdiri dari 4 aspek komplusif, penarikan diri, toleransi, hubungan interpersonal dan kesehatan, sedangkan skala interaksi sosial yaitu terdiri dari 2 aspek kontak sosial dan komunikasi. berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan, maka diproleh hasil bahwa terdapat perbedaan kecanduan game online ditinjau dari interaksi sosial. Hasil ini diketahui dengan melihat nilai koefisien signifikansi yaitu r2 0,249 signifikansi p = 0,000 < 0,05. Kemudian nilai r2 0,249 dikatagorikan pada tingkat korelasi sedang karena berada pada rentang 0,40-0,599. Artinya variabel kecanduan dengan interaksi sosial memiliki korelasi negatif. Artinya semakin tinggi tingkat kecanduan game online maka semakin rendah interaksi sosial pada remaja, sebaliknya semakin rendah tingkat kecanduan game online terhadap remaja maka semakin tinggi tingkat interaksi sosial pada remaja SMP Negeri 4 Takengon. This study aims to see the effect of online game addiction on the social interaction of adolescents at Takengon 4 Public Middle School. This study used quantitative research methods, the subjects of this study were teenagers at SMP Negeri 4 Takengon who were over 13 years old, the number of samples in this study were 62 teenagers. In line with the discussion in the theoretical basis, the hypothesis put forward in this study is that there is an effect of online game addiction on adolescent social interaction, the higher the level of online game addiction, the lower the social interaction of adolescents, conversely, the lower the level of online game addiction in adolescents. The higher the social interaction of adolescents at Takengon 4 Public Middle School, this study uses an online game addiction scale which consists of 4 aspects, namely compulsion, withdrawal, tolerance, interpersonal relations and health, while the social interaction scale consists of 2 aspects of social interaction. contact and communication. based on the results of the data analysis conducted, it was found that there are differences in online game addiction in terms of social interaction. This result is known by looking at the significance coefficient value, namely r2 0.249, p = 0.000, significance <0.05. Then the r2 value of 0.249 is categorized at a moderate correlation level because it is in the range of 0.40-0.599. This means that the addiction variable with social interaction has a negative correlation. This means that the higher the level of addiction to online games, the lower the social interaction in adolescents, conversely, the lower the level of addiction to online games in adolescents, the higher the level of social interaction in adolescents at SMP Negeri 4 Takengon.en_US
