Abstract: Salah satu bidang pekerjaan profesional yang bergerak di bidang pelayanan adalah petugas pengatur lalu lintas udara atau yang dikenal sebagai Air Traffic Controller (ATC). ATC memiliki peran sosial yang lain di luar pekerjaan. Hal tersebut menjadi persoalan ketika ATC tidak bisa menyeimbangkan antara pekerjaan dengan keluarga maupun lingkungan sosialnya. Karyawan yang mengalami kendala dalam work-life balance diawali dengan perasaan kecewa, gelisah dalam bekerja dan ingin segera mengakhiri kondisi yang dihadapi saat ini untuk berpindah ke posisi atau peran lainnya di luar bekerja. Untuk itulah diperlukan adanya mindfulness guna menghindari emosi negatif yang muncul dan mempengaruhi work-life balance sehingga ATC mampu berfokus dan menjalani perannya saat ini dan peran lainnya secara seimbang. Penelitian dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data structural equation model (SEM) yang dioperasikan melalui program JASP versi 16. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 368 karyawan dengan sampel 172 karyawan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa mindfulness berpengaruh positif terhadap work-life balance dengan nilai koefisien jalur (path coefficient) 0,337 dan signifikan dengan nilai p < 0.001, mindfulness berpengaruh positif terhadap regulasi emosi dengan nilai koefisien jalur (path coefficient) 0,686 dan signifikan dengan nilai p < 0.001, regulasi emosi berpengaruh positif terhadap work-life balance dengan nilai koefisien jalur (path coefficient) 0,321 dan signifikan dengan nilai p < 0.001, dan regulasi emosi signifikan memediasi hubungan antara mindfulness dan work-life balance dengan nilai p < 0.001. One of the fields of professional work engaged in the service sector is an air traffic control officer, also known as an Air Traffic Controller (ATC). ATC has other social roles outside of work. This becomes a problem when ATC cannot balance work with family or social environment. Employees who experience problems in work-life balance begin with feelings of disappointment, and anxiety at work and want to immediately end the conditions they are currently facing to move to other positions or roles outside of work. For this reason, mindfulness is needed to avoid negative emotions that arise and affect work-life balance so that ATC is able to focus and carry out its current and other roles in a balanced way. The research was conducted quantitatively using structural equation model (SEM) data analysis techniques operated through the JASP version 16 program. The study population consisted of 368 employees with a sample of 172, using a simple random sampling technique. Based on the research results it is known that mindfulness has a positive effect on work-life balance with a path coefficient value of 0.337 and is significant with a pvalue <0.001, mindfulness has a positive effect on emotional regulation with a path coefficient value of 0.686 and is significant with a p-value < 0.001, emotion regulation has a positive effect on work-life balance with a path coefficient value of 0.321 and is significant with a p-value < 0.001, and emotional regulation significantly mediates the relationship between mindfulness and work-life balance with a p-value < 0.001.
