dc.description.abstract | Kepala Puskesmas mempunyai peran yang penting untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi terutama berkaitan dengan peningkatan kinerja pegawai dalam melaksanakan pekerjaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sekaligus menganalisis peran Kepala Puskesmas dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai yang ada di Puskesmas Kenangan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori peranan yang dikemukakan oleh Sutrisno dan juga Teori Kinerja pegawai Wilson Bangun. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Puskesmas Kenangan yang beralamat di Jalan Tiung Raya Kelurahan Kenangan Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini meliputi Kepala Puskesmas, Pegawai Puskesmas dan juga pasien Puskesmas Kenangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi kegiatan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan terakhir penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kepala Puskesmas Kenangan telah berperan dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Beberapa informan menyebutkan Kepala Puskesmas Kenangan layaknya seperti orang tua mereka, membimbing mereka, mengarahkan mereka dan mendidik mereka dan selalu menghargai apa yang telah mereka lakukan. Terdapat kendala bagi pihak Puskesmas Kenangan dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang bermutu, yaitu mengenai fasilitas atau peralatan medis yang belum memadai untuk mendukung pelayanan kesehatan yang pada akhirnya mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai. The head of the Puskesmas has an important role in achieving organizational goals, especially with regard to improving employee performance in carrying out their work. This study aims to determine and analyze the role of the Head of the Puskesmas in improving the performance of employees at the Kenangan Health Center. The theory used in this research is the role theory proposed by Sutrisno and also Wilson Bangun's Employee Performance Theory. This study uses a qualitative research type. The location of the research was carried out at the Kenangan Health Center which is located at Jalan Tiung Raya, Kenangan Village, Percut Sei Tuan District. The research subjects in this study included the Head of the Puskesmas, Puskesmas employees and also Kenangan Health Center patients. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and finally drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the Head of the Kenangan Health Center has played a role in improving employee performance. Several informants mentioned that the Head of PuskesmasKenangan is like their parents, guiding them, directing them and educating them and always appreciating what they have done. There are obstacles for the Kenangan Health Center in providing quality health services, namely regarding inadequate medical facilities or equipment to support health services which ultimately affect employee performance | en_US |
