Perbedaan Kecanduan Gadget Ditinjau dari Kepribadian Introvert dan Extrovert di SMKN 8 Medan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan kecanduan gadget ditinjau dari kepribadian introvert dan extrovert di SMKN 8 Medan. Kecanduan gadget adalah sebuah kebiasaan yang melibatkan penggunaan teknologi oleh siswa secara terus menerus, sebagai pelarian dari konflik dan masalah–masalah hidup yang sedang dihadapi.Siswa memiliki ciri–ciri tipe kepribadian ekstrovert dan introvert. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes IAT untuk mengukur kecanduan Gadget serta skala Likert untuk mengukur tipe kepribadian introvert dan ekstrovert. Populasi adalah siswa tingkat XI dan XII SMK Negeri 8 Medan yang berjumlah 120 siswa dan keseluruhan menjadi sampel penelitian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis uji statistik ANOVA. Hasil persentase yang diperoleh bahwa mean kecanduan gadget pada tipe kepribadian ekstrovert (81,66) lebih kecil dari pada mean pada tipe kepribadian introvert (89,59) dengan selisih yang signifikan sebesar 7,93. Nilai Fhitung (30,859) > Ftabel (3,991) dan nilai sig lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000<0,05), artinya ada perbedaan rata – rata kecenderungan kecanduan gadget ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian. Maka dari itu, ada perbedaan kecenderungan kecanduan gadget ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian introvert-ekstrovert. This study aims to look at differences in gadget addiction in terms of introverted and extroverted personalities at SMKN 8 Medan. Gadget addiction is a habit that involves continuous use of technology by students, as an escape from conflicts and life problems that are being faced. Students have characteristics of extrovert and introvert personality types. The research method uses quantitative. Data collection uses the IAT test to measure Gadget addiction and the Likert scale to measure introvert and extrovert personality types. The population is students of grades XI and XII at SMK Negeri 8 Medan, totaling 120 students and all of them are the research sample. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis on the ANOVA statistical test. The percentage results obtained show that the mean gadget addiction for the extrovert personality type (81.66) is smaller than the mean for the introvert personality type (89.59) with a significant difference of 7.93. The Fcount value (30.859) > Ftable (3.991) and the sig value is less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05), meaning that there is an average difference in the tendency of gadget addiction in terms of personality type. Therefore, there are differences in the tendency of gadget addiction in terms of introvert-extrovert personality types.
