dc.description.abstract | Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh katalisator terhadap titik nyala, viskositas, densitas, angka iodin pada biodiesel. Bahan baku yang digunakan limbah minyak goreng. katalis yang digunakan 0.25% dan 0.5 %. Hasil pengujian titik nyala pada konsentrasi katalis 0.25% dan 0.5% adalah 58⁰c dan 48.5⁰c. Hasil pengujian viskositas pada konsentrasi katalis 0.25% dan 0.5% adalah 4.567 x10-6 m2/s dan 4.625 x10-6 m2/s. Hasil pengujian densitas pada konsentrasi katalis 0.25% dan 0.5% adalah 889 kg/m3 dan 888,3 kg/m3. Hasil pengujian angka iodin pada konsentrasi katalis 0.25% dan 0.5% adalah 112,2 g-l2/100g dan 114 g-l2/100g. Hasil pengujian titik nyala belum pada standar mutu biodiesel. Hasil pengujian viskositas dan densitas sesuai standar mutu biodiesel, pada pengujian angka iodin belum sesuai standar biodiesel namun hasil yang diperoleh tidak jauh dari standar mutu ESDM. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of catalysts on flash point, viscosity, density, iodine number in biodiesel. Raw materials used waste cooking oil. The catalysts used are 0.25% and 0.5%. Flash point test results at catalyst concentrations of 0.25% and 0.5% were 58⁰c and 48.5⁰c. The viscosity test results at catalyst concentrations of 0.25% and 0.5% were 4,567 x10-6 m 2/s and 4,625 x10-6 m 2/s. The density test results at catalyst concentrations of 0.25% and 0.5% were 889 kg/m3 and 888.3 kg/m3. The test results of iodine numbers at catalyst concentrations of 0.25% and 0.5% were 112.2 g-l 2/100g and 114 g-l 2/100g. Flash point test results are not yet on biodiesel quality standards. The results of viscosity and density testing according to biodiesel quality standards, iodine number testing is not yet in accordance with biodiesel standards but the results obtained are not far from ESDM quality standards. | en_US |
