Komunikasi Interpersonal dalam Film Jandi La Surong (Analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes)

Abstract

Komunikasi selalu terjadi di kehidupan manusia, seperti yang tergambar dalam pemeran tokoh dalam film Jandi La Surong menunjukkan adanya komunikasi secara verbal maupun nonverbal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan teori Interaksionisme Simbolik George Herbert Mead dan Semiotika Roland Barthes. Teknik analisis ini digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk memaknai proses interaksi simbolik dalam dialog antartokoh serta makna denotasi, konotasi dan mitos dalam adegan film. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal dalam film Jandi La Surong, terdapat Interaksi simbolik yaitu melalui gestur, simbol, makna, dan tindakan (Implus, presepsi, manipulasi, dan konsumasi). Simbol dari penggunaan makna denotasi, konotasi serta mitos menjelaskan bahwa benda, gerakan tubuh, dan kepercayaan dari individu dapat mempengaruhi proses interaksi komunikasi. Human communication always occurs in human life, as illustrated in the characters in the movie Jandi La Surong shows the existence of verbal and nonverbal communication. This analysis uses descriptive qualitative method and George Herbert Mead's Symbolic Interactionism theory and Roland Barthes' Semiotics. These analysis techniques used in this research to give meaning of symbolic interaction in characters' dialog as well as denotation, connotation and mythical meaning in movie scenes. The analysis shows that interpersonal communication in the movie Jandi La Surong, there is symbolic interaction through gestures, symbols, meanings, and actions (Implus, perception, manipulation, and consumption). Symbols from the use of denotation, connotation and mitotic meanings explain that objects, body movements, and personal beliefs of individuals may influence the process of communication interaction.
