Perancangan Musik Center (Pusat Musik) di Kota Medan dengan Tema Arsitektur Metafora

Abstract

Dengan meningkatnya perkembangan Musik di Indonesia yang cukup pesat dimana Musik merupakan Kesenian yang memiliki segala hasrat manusia terhadap keindahan. Bentuk keindahan yang beraneka ragam itu timbul dari imajinasi kreatif yang dapat memberikan kepuasan batin bagi manusia. Fenomena-fenomena tersebut menunjukkan besarnya potensi dan antusiasme masyarakat Indonesia dalam musik terlebih khususnya masyarakat di Sumatera Utara. Potensi dan antusiasme tersebut tidak hanya dalam kapasitas sebagai penikmat musik, akan tetapi minat untuk mempelajari musik yang terlihat dari banyaknya sekolah maupun tempat kursus musik yang bermunculan dan sangat diminati oleh masyarakat terutama di kota besar. Musik Center (Pusat Musik) tidak hanya di buat untuk pertunjukan tetapi juga memberikan pengajaran tentang musik dan bisa menjadi icon di Sumatera Utara Khususnya Kota Medan. Penerapan Arsitektur Metafora kedalam desain Musik Center (Pusat Musik) akan dapat memberikan suatu ciri khas dari bangunan yang memperlihatkan fungsi dari bangunan tersebut. With the increasing development of music in Indonesia which is quite rapid where music is an art that has all human desires for beauty. The various forms of beauty arise from creative imagination that can provide inner satisfaction for humans. These phenomena show the great potential and enthusiasm of the Indonesian people in music, especially the people in North Sumatra. This potential and enthusiasm is not only in the capacity of being a music connoisseur, but also the interest in learning music can be seen from the many schools and music courses that have sprung up and are in great demand by the public, especially in big cities. Music Center (Music Center) is not only made for performances but also provides teaching about music and can become an icon in North Sumatra, especially the city of Medan. The application of Metaphorical Architecture into the design of the Music Center (Music Center) will be able to provide a characteristic of the building that shows the function of the building.
