dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini berjudul : Persepsi Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Medan Area Terhadap Etika Kritik Di Ruang Publik Media Sosial Instagram (studi kasus akun Instagram @medantalk). Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh etika kritik yang berada di media sosial instagram. Komunikasi yang berbasis etika kini menjadi persoalan yang sangat urgent dalam penyampaian berkomentar di media sosial. Tradisi komunikasi yang sedemikian itu, di pastikan akan menimbulkan dampak negatif yang tidak terhitung dalam kehidupan nyata. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Medan Area terhadap etika kritik di ruang publik media sosial. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Medan Area dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teori yang di gunakan adalah S-O-R (Stimulus, Organisme, Respon). Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa banyak kritikan netizen dalam memberikan komentar tidak memiliki etika, seharusnya ketika ingin mengkritik harus menggunakan bahasa yang sopan dan tidak membuat sakit hati dari pihak manapun. This research is entitled: Perceptions of Communication Studies Students at the University of Medan Area on the Ethics of Criticism in Instagram Social Media Public Spaces (a case study of the Instagram account @medantalk). This research is motivated by the ethics of criticism on Instagram social media. Ethics-based communication is now a very urgent issue in submitting comments on social media. Such a communication tradition, is sure to have countless negative impacts in real life. The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of Communication Studies students at the University of Medan Area on the ethics of criticism in public social media spaces. This research was conducted at the University of Medan Area using a qualitative descriptive method. The theory used is S-O-R (Stimulus, Organism, Response). Collecting data in this study is by conducting interviews and observations. The results of this study indicate that many netizens criticize in giving comments without ethics, when they want to criticize they should use polite language and not offend anyone. | en_US |
