Abstract: Melon merupakan tanaman jenis labu yang masih satu family dengan semangka dan blewah, tanaman melon sangat memiliki kemiripan dengan semangka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian plant growth promoting rizobacteri (PGPR) dan aplikasi mikoriza dalam pertumbuhan dan produksi pada tanaman melon varietas pertiwi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor, yaitu plant growth promoting rizobacteri (PGPR) dan aplikasi mikoriza. PGPR terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan, yaitu: P0 = tanpa PGPR (air), P1 = PGPR konsentrasi 20% /liter air (20 ml/L), P2 = PGPR konsentrasi 25% /liter air (25 ml/L) dan P3 = PGPR konsentrasi 30% /liter air (30 ml/L). Sedangkan Mikoriza terdiri dari 5 taraf, yaitu: M0 = kontrol (tanpa inokulan mikoriza), M1 = 5 g/m² inokulan mikoriza (50 kg/ha), M2 = 10 g/m² inokulan mikoriza (100 kg/ha), M3 = 15 g/m² inokulan mikoriza (150 kg/ha) dan M4 = 20 g/m inokulan mikoriza (200 kg/ha). Variabel pengamatan meliputi : tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), jumlah buah per sampel (buah), jumlah buah per plot (buah), diameter buah per sampel (cm), bobot buah per sampel (g), bobot buah per plot (kg) dan kolonisasi mikoriza. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan PGPR parameter pengamatan pada pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman melon dengan perlakuan terbaik yaitu P3 dengan dosis PGPR konsentrasi 30% /liter air. Dan perlakuan mikoriza berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah buah per sampel, jumlah buah per plot, masa awal pembungaan, berat buah per sampel, berat buah per plot dan kolonisasi mikoriza, dengan perlakuan terbaik yaitu M4 dengan dosis 20 g/m2 inokulan mikoriza. Melon is a type of pumpkin plant that is still in the same family as watermelon and cantaloupe. Melon plants are very similar to watermelons. This study aims to determine the effect of giving plant growth promoting rhizobacteri (PGPR) and the application of mycorrhizae on the growth and production of melon variety Pertiwi. This research method used a factorial randomized block design consisting of 2 factors, namely plant growth promoting rhizobacteri (PGPR) and mycorrhiza applications. PGPR consists of 4 treatment levels, namely: P0 = without PGPR (water), P1 = PGPR concentration of 20% / liter of water (20 ml/L), P2 = PGPR concentration of 25% / liter of water (25 ml/L) and P3 = PGPR concentration of 30% / liter of water (30 ml/L). Meanwhile, mycorrhiza consists of 5 levels, namely: M0 = control (without mycorrhiza inoculant), M1 = 5 g/m² of mycorrhiza inoculant (50 kg/ha), M2 = 10 g/m² of mycorrhiza inoculant (100 kg/ha), M3 = 15 g/m² of mycorrhiza inoculant (150 kg/ha) and M4 = 20 g/m of mycorrhiza inoculant (200 kg/ha). Observational variables include: plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of fruits per sample (fruit), number of fruits per plot (fruit), fruit diameter per sample (cm), fruit weight per sample (g), fruit weight per plot (kg) and mycorrhizal colonization. The results showed that the PGPR parameter observed on the growth and production of melon plants with the best treatment was P3 with a PGPR dose of 30%/liter of water. And the application of mycorrhizal treatments significantly affected plant height, number of fruits per sample, number of fruits per plot, early flowering, fruit weight per sample, fruit weight per plot and mycorrhiza colonization, with the best treatment being M4 with a dose of 20 g/m2 mycorrhiza inoculant.
