Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L) is one of the horticultural commodities that has the potential to be developed because it has high economic value. Tomato plants can be grown in both the highlands and the lowlands, depending on the variety planted. The purpose of this study was to determine the response of rice straw mulch and liquid organic fertilizer from coconut water and their interaction on the growth and production of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum L). This study used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 2 factors with 15 treatment combinations and 3 replications to obtain 45 research plots. The results showed that the treatment of rice straw mulch had no significant effect on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, number of fruits, fruit diameter and fruit production per plot. POC from coconut water had no significant effect on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, number of fruits, fruit diameter and fruit production per plot and had a significant effect on the number of fruit parameters in the first harvest. The interaction between rice straw mulch and POC from coconut water had no significant effect on all parameters. | en_US |
