Abstract: | Pupuk petroganik merupakan salah satu bahan organik pembentuk agregat tanah yang mempunyai peran sebagai bahan perekat antar artikel tanah. Batang pisang merupakan bahan organik yang mengandung protein 4,77%, karbohidrat 4,6%, dan mengandung unsur hara makro maupun mikro. Kacang hijau merupakan salah satu tanaman pangan sumber protein nabati, berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik (2021) produksi kacang hijau di Sumatera Utara mengalami penurunan dari 1.625 ton per tahun 2020 menjadi 1.223 ton per tahun 2021 dengan luas lahan 2.549,7 ha. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pertumbuhan tanaman kacang hijau (Vigna radiata L) dengan pemberian pupuk petroganik dan mulsa batang pisang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lahan percobaan Universitas Medan Area dari bulan Oktober 2022 sampai dengan Desember 2022. Perlakuan disusun dengan rancangan acak kelompok faktorial, yang terdiri dari 2 faktor yaitu: (1) Pupuk petroganik (V) terdiri dari 4 taraf V0=tanpa perlakuan, V1=400 kg/ha, V2=600 Kg/ha dan V3=800 kg/ha. (2) penggunaan mulsa batang pisang (K) terdiri dari 4 taraf. K0= tanpa perlakuan, K1=3,6 kg/plot (batang pisang yang masih basah), K2= 3,6 kg/plot (batang pisang yang telah dikeringkan), K3=3,6 Kg/plot (batang pisang yang telah dicacah dan dikeringkan). Aplikasi Pupuk petroganik berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah polong per tanaman sampel, dan jumlah polong per plot. Aplikasi mulsa batang pisang berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah polong pertanaman sampel dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, dan jumlah polong per plot. Namun tidak berpengaruh nyata pada jumlah daun, jumlah cabang, umur mulai berbunga, dan persentase seangan hama. Kombinasi perlakuan pupuk petroganik dan mulsa batang pisang tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah produksi yang dihasilkan. Petroganic fertilizer is one of the organic materials that form soil aggregates which has a role as an adhesive material between soil articles. Banana stem is an organic material containing 4.77% protein, 4.6% carbohydrates, and contains macro and micro nutrients. Mung bean is a food plant that is a source of vegetable protein. Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (2021), mung bean production in North Sumatra has decreased from 1,625 tons per year in 2020 to 1,223 tons per year 2021 with a land area of 2,549.7 ha. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth effect of green bean plants (Vigna radiata L) by applying petroganic fertilizers and banana stem mulch. This research was conducted at the Medan Area University experimental field from October 2022 to December 2022. The treatment was arranged in a factorial randomized block design, which consisted of 2 factors, namely: (1) Petroganic fertilizer (V) consisted of 4 levels V0 = no treatment, V1=400 kg/ha, V2=600 kg/ha and V3=800 kg/ha. (2) the use of banana stem mulch (K) consists of 4 levels. K0 = no treatment, K1 = 3.6 kg/plot (banana stems that were still wet), K2 = 3.6 kg/plot (dried banana stems), K3 = 3.6 kg/plot (banana stems that had been chopped and dried). The application of petroganic fertilizers had a very significant effect on plant height, number of pods per sample plant, and number of pods per plot. The application of banana stem mulch has a very significant effect on the number of pods planted in the sample and has a significant effect on plant height and the number of pods per plot. However, it had no significant effect on the number of leaves, the number of branches, the age of flowering, and the percentage of pest attack. The combination of petroganic fertilizer and banana stem mulch did not significantly affect the amount of production produced. |
